Izzy Hops

** I changed my review from two stars to four stars because it really is a fabulous bar with the best food and ambience, it would've been a five star experience had the bartender been attentive to me at allI got a recommendation from a local to come to this place because they had a really great beer selection and cheese curds, both of which I was desperately looking for while in Milwaukee. The bar is very cool, it has a garage door style opening so you can sit inside while still being able to see everything outside. The lighting is awesome, the best thing was they had outlets to plug your phone in at almost every place there was to sit. Awesome, I wish every restaurant did this. Now things kind of take a turn. First, the beer menu did not match the one on line on their website, which, no big deal, but I was looking for specific beer that they didn't have. I made do, no biggie. I then ordered cheese curds and a Smashburger, both of which were phenomenal. The beer was fine, but just OK, I definitely would've preferred the one I had picked out before I got there. Anyway, the big problem was that there was only three people in the bar me and a couple. The bartender hovered around this couple the entire time I was there. I had to ask for a beer, I had asked for my second beer, I had to ask for a Diet Coke, I had to ask for a refill for my Diet Coke. She paid literally no attention to me. It was disconcerting because I'm also paying customer that tips. This girl did not seem to care one bit. She was really bad at noticing I was there at all. Anyway. The food is good, the beer is OK, the ambience is awesome, maybe get a new bartender I don't know. I did tip really well, but trust me when I say she did not deserve it.

Came here for their Wednesday burger specials! It also ended up being bingo night and it was super fun! It was a fun environment with good food and vibes.

Izzy Hops always has a good selection of beers and the vibe is great for a casual hangout with friends on a week day or weekend night! I've done trivia here in the past, and I remember it being a great event for groups of people!

Izzy Hops is a bar with nice ambience with a full bar and plenty of tap beers. The servers are friendly. They have a nice city patio for the few months out of the year we get to enjoy such pleasures in life. This bar definitely seems like it has all age ranges, and is not full of people who are freshly drinking age. This is a nice place to grab drinks with friends or even a first date!

Izzy Hops is the best place to go for a yummy brunch, especially if you're looking for (kind of) bottomless mimosas. It a great deal, because they just leave the bottle and OJ on the table and you can make the mimosas yourself. The bottles are cheap and perfect for a group to share. The menu has tons of different choices, so there's something for everyone. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great for the summer. The aesthetic and service are awesome and this should definitely be the spot for your next brunch!

They host regular trivia and bingo nights so be sure to check out their social media sites to get in on the action.This spot offered a ride range of beers and highlights some of Milwaukee local spots like Indeed Brewing. Get that pistachio beer if you haven't already. YUM! I ordered some fish tacos that would shine a little brighter with some different spices. Love the lighting in this place and the staff is quite helpful.

Super cute environment with friendly staff. It's just order at the bar service but it's quick and efficient. I order a hard kombucha which was great and the giant pretzel and the Cobb salad. Everything was good the salad was much to talk about kinda simple with not too much going on or unique. But the giant pretzel was bomb and I took it home and ate it for two days after haha it's HUGE. great cheese sauce and mustard served with it too!

Shoutout to Nadia!!!!! She was the best bartender and had amazing recommendations! We're from Texas so we didn't know too many spots. We drove past this bar as everything else was super packed from shamrock shuffle. It looked kind of empty so we were hesitant. I'm so glad we decided to stop here. We got here around 11pm and kitchen closed at 10pm so we were not able to try the food. We are not IPA people, but the kombucha blueberry basil was super good! Shout out again to Nadia for giving us a sample! The service was amazing. After an hour or two everyone was gone and it was only us 2 and Nadias mom and friend. They were so cool and friendly! Loved everyone!! Sorry Nadia, I know we said we were coming back on Sunday but we kind of overslept and felt sick....LOL. I hope to visit Milwaukee and Izzy Hops again!! 10/10

Burger and pizza were good, we had a larger party and we all had to order separately at the bar. The food came out so scattered that some were done eating before others started. It was fine, but not sure I'd go out of my way to return.

We went for the drinks but stayed for the food. The service was great and it was a chill bar to go to!
