Ivee's At Main

Who would have known finding a place to brunch would come a long wait during the holidays. This is how we found Ivee's. I called ahead of arrival and the kind staff held a table for the 7 of us. The restaurant is a simple cafe and small. I wasn't expecting much food wise when a restaurant is busy quality can suffer. I was wrong. The omelets were not dry and .she well. The biscuits and gravy was flavorful. In summary. I would definitely go again.

Many people told me what a great breakfast place this is. Well, no place deserves to be known for breakfast if they don't have real maple syrup for the pancakes and waffles (and the server barely knows what you're talking about when you ask). Bacon: Burned. Omelet: An odd thing, with cheese appallingly applied over the OUTSIDE of it.But Ivee's has committed the Cardinal Sin: G.D. TV screens everywhere. Look, Ivee's, if you want to be yet another "sports bar" -- in other words, yet another dime a dozen establishment -- fine. But must those effing things be turned on in the morning? Must YOU, dear readers, consent to a culture of inane electronic bombardment, everywhere, every waking minute? If your answer, dear reader, is Yes (or "Get a life!", or "Who cares?"), then I give YOU, dear reader, zero stars. The world is becoming the stuff of nightmarish science fiction . . . with your blessing.

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday and the place was hopping'! Had the ultimate scramble and was ok, eggs and hash browns were good, but I didn't realize it was cheese sauce that was going to be on it as opposed to real cheese and the ham was thin sliced deli ham. My daughter had the French toast and it was good. I'd like to come back and try some other menu items though since it's so close to home for me and like I said, was very busy so I probably just didn't order the right thing. Service was very good and friendly also.

A great little place in Germantown. We went there for Mother's Day to celebrate and it was wonderful.Very busy but seemed like no time at all and our food arrived.The servers were pleasant and my mom is a regular weekly,this is her favorite place for breakfast. We will definitely be back and I recommend you check it out,very reasonable prices too.

Great little diner in downtown Germantown. Stopped in here to meet some family while in town for Christmas. I thought that it had a very 'family run' feel to it, which I love. Place was packed, which is always a good sign.The breakfast special is a ridiculously good deal. We had a coupon for 2:1 but decided not to use it since the prices were criminally low anyway.

Wow. Been here three times in the past three months and safe to say, this will be our new bi-weekly fish fry. Both the fries and baked cod are fantastic. Cheese "blocks"/curds or whatever they call them are incredible!

Nice value for Breakfast. Good service and good "Bloody Mary's. And they have sports on the TV's

As you can see by my previous review, I wasn't impressed at all by my only other stop at Ivee's. I decided to give them another chance when I learned that they have a breakfast burrito. I ordered one for pickup to go without green chilies and added bacon inside.The menu on their website as of 12/24/2021 states that their breakfast burrito has sausage, egg, and cheese in a grilled tortilla and comes with salsa, sour cream, and hash browns. A picture of the burrito that I saw on social media, though, looked like it had hash browns inside the burrito instead of on the side like the menu implies. The first thing I did when I called was ask what actually comes in it because the information I had was contradictory. Apparently the burrito comes with sausage, egg, cheese, hash browns, and green chilies (which aren't mentioned at all on the online menu) all inside it. Quite different from the online menu description.I received a side of salsa but didn't receive the sour cream. I wouldn't have used it anyway so I'm not mad about it, but again, yet another thing that's different from the online menu.The tortilla wasn't grilled at all and was only warm because of the contents inside. They added a good amount of bacon inside, to the point where it overshadowed the sausage.It's not my favorite breakfast burrito, but it wasn't bad. It would be my pick if I HAD to go to Ivee's again, but Town 9 Tap in Richfield and Kurt Schultz Deli in Brown Deer aren't too far of a drive for breakfast burritos that I prefer.

Best German potato salad around..Their veg. beef soup is also so delicious.we go there on a regular basis. Kids from out of town love to go there when they get home.

Food was awesome at a great price. Friendly staff and service is exceptional. The family that took over the ownership has done a fantastic job
