Il Mito Cafe

Yum! My friend recommended this place and based on the reviews and pictures I was excited to try! We had made a reservation, though when we arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday night, there were a good amount of tables available. By time we left there was a line at the door. The restaurant is intimate feeling and the low light created the perfect cozy feeling. There are good variety of table sizes for all types of groups, and outdoor seating for those warmer days and nights. Looking around as we were deciding on what to order, everything that was being delivered to tables around us, looked delicious! I ordered the Tortelloni Della campagna, an amazing mushroom filled pasta dish. Everything was so good and the perfect serving size. There are plenty of options of wine to go with your pasta dish. I am excited to come back and try more!

Had wanted to go since Il Mito Cafe opened but it never worked out. Anyways we made it here for a midweek dinner. We were struck by the pleasant decor, a bit rustic looking but nice. The garage doors add to the ambience and we dined indoors near an open area on a nice summer evening. Only thing I'd say on the layout is that I'm not sure why they have so many high top tables in the dining room, regular height tables would be more appropriate and comfortable. We had the Caprese as a starter and it was very tasty. Drizzled with balsamic glaze and some pesto. Nice sized beefsteak tomato slices and a nice chunk of Burrata. Very nice. If the burrata was slightly larger that would be great but it was very nice as is. Had the penne ala vodka with shrimp as the main. Very nice as well. A slightly different take on this dish with spinach, mushrooms and peas. Sauce was also a little lighter than some. Very tasty dish. Service was good with a friendly young waiter. Would definitely return.

We sat outside on a nice sunny day. Ordered small plates and salads, and to our surprise we enjoyed Fresh ingredients, tasty food. A nice addition are friendly and knowledgeable waiters who were happy to explain the Italian menu and special orders were created just for us. We will definitely be returning to try the yummy goodness. Pictures include the Carpaccio, Calzone Napolitano, Arancini Sicilliani, Crimini Arrostiti, and Insalata Cesare salad.

Always happy for a new restaurant opening that is close to work. I had a business lunch here and the first floor was poppin. Our reservation was missed but we were able to sit at the bar.I ordered the brushetta and the panino con affettati. The brushetta was fresh and I really enjoyed the drizzle of pesto on top. The panini was so flavorful. It might be considered salty to some but it is filled with prosciutto, salami, mortadella, and parmesan spread. This was a savory bomb. I thought this meal was a great lunch portion. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu once it warms up. The garage doors are inviting and the patio seating looks dope. I think this is going to be a hot spot for Delafield this summer.

3 Women sat outside for the 3 for $33 option on a Thursday night. The patio had plenty of shade and the restaurant next door had live music so the atmosphere was great. Our meals were really good: chicken Vesuvius which was creamy and full of lots of veggies: lasagna; salads and yummy desserts. The drink cost brought our bill to $50 each with tip. It was worth it! We plan to come back again and love the idea of sitting at a firepit with our friends when the days are shorter. This place is worth a visit.

Food is SO GOOD. Try the ravioli it's the best pasta I've ever had. Nice relaxing environment, good staff. Seriously I cannot emphasize enough how good the food is.

As was the case with Il Mito I - OMG! Describes the food. The service also outstanding! The place has ambiance, and those cool garage doors for summer evenings - (can't wait!). Fecker did it again. The choices were amazing, the prices were very good for upscale, contemporary food and menu and the flavors were of course supreme. Fecker has Il Mito (which my very cool daughter turned us on to many years ago (North Avenue - 58th or so?) and then they opened Hartland, Zesti - also wonderful, just as wonderful and very cool venue - then this one in Delafield the 'Cafe' but full bar/wine/etc but limited hours so make a reservation! He also bought Dobie's in St Francis no where near us and it's a steak place and we don't usually have beef. All four of us were extremely pleased. I would say no children - it's an upscale, great food night out with family or friends and 4 people expect $200. per usual good food and drinks.nowherenowhere

Our daughter and son-in-law had dinner at Il Mito and recommended it. We had lunch with friends on a nice fall Saturday and sat just inside the open garage doors. All of the food was excellent! We shared calamari which was the most tender version we've ever had. The crispy risotto balls (Arancini Siciliani) were different and delicious. The caprese salad featured fresh mozzarella and wonderfully ripe tomatoes. The tortelloni with mushroom sauce was hearty and perfectly done. To top it off, the service was thoughtful and attentive. We will definitely return!!
