Gotta give some love for the Ice House. This is my favorite spot to grab the Brewers shuttle into the game. It's close proximity to the field, makes it very ideal! I love coming before and grabbing a drink or two. I have yet to try the food, although it smells delicious.

I have been looking at this place for years and I have even stopped over a few times but they were always closed. As I drove by something looked completely different because there was a a neon sign lit up saying open so I went around the block and I stopped. The place is like a hundred years old the friendly bartender told me. The bar menu seems big a neighborhood coroner bar including a Friday fish fry. The place has a big bar and a back room with more tables with a projection tv. They have a few taps and mostly bottles and can products from what I saw. They have a pool table, darts, gambling machines etc etc.

Ah yes Ice house, reminds me of the Miller product I guess it it might have been discontinued a few years ago. How can I Be FTR for this hidden dive? It is a Dive styled bar with a back room for music. The sound was ok the lighting was bad. But the performance was great enough to get people moving on the dance floor. They do have a good selection of crafts and domestic drafts. bartenders are fast. Got a rare chance to see a local Cover Rock band called Gabriel's crossing play county rock. Hope they come back again. A few of the customers celebrated a few birthday parties all together in a pot luck. Food 4Amb 3Service 4Location 4Value 474/2015

Come for the Brewers shuttle, stay for the cheap drinks and West Milwaukee comradery. There is nothing fancy about Icehouse. It is a corner bar that serves food and booze. Pretty straightforward establishment. The bartenders and fellow patrons are very nice and friendly. Don't be intimidated to check it out.The best part is they are conveniently located by Miller Park and offer a shuttle to and from games. They only have one shuttle but it runs frequently and they try their best to make sure everyone is comfortably on board before departure. Make sure to get a wristband for buy one get one free after the game.

Gotta give some love to Ice House for their extremely convenient shuttle to and from Brewers games. This local pub offers the closest shuttle for game goers and it seems to be Milwaukee's best kept secret. While waiting to head to the game, have a beer, a burger (or one of their day's food specials), and talk to your fellow Brew Crew fans. Food is good and prices are reasonable.Sure you could get the shuttles from the other fancy bars, but this one is so close that if you miss it when leaving Miller Park, you can be sure it will be back in 9 minutes (yes, I've timed it). You can easily park down the street from the bar for free, order a drink, and they give you a wristband for your return trip. Plus, after the game you can get a buy one get one drink!Be sure to tip the driver! Return shuttle service starts after the 7th inning. Enjoy the game!

Ice House is a neighborhood bar that has been in the area for a very long time. We have visited years ago and it was just a different crowd for us. We visited again just a few days ago and enjoyed our visit. It was a weeknight so there was not many people there. It was also late. We were hungry and other places we visited already closed their kitchen. We figured so did Ice House but let's stop in somewhere near by and have a couple drinks. Then another customer walks in and asks the bartender "Owner" if he had any food and he replies yes Lasagna. We were surprised and asked if we could order some also. He said, yes I have plenty and it is all homemade from scratch. First he brings out some garlic bread that was huge, buttery, garlicky and the crust had just the perfect amount of crunch! Then the brings out the lasagna which was one of the biggest pieces I've seen in a long time. Well let just get to it, this lasagna was absolutely delicious! I could not have gotten better from anywhere else! The sauce, noodles and cheese were perfect! Don't know if he is a small bar owner in the neighborhood or chef that everyone needs to know about. He said he makes a dish daily and it is always from scratch! I will be back to see what else he has up his sleeve!

Drove by running an errand and was a great stop. $5.00 fish fry, cannot beat that and i had a few stops and these were some of the best fries and fish I've had. Only stipulation you had to eat in. Light batter and great drink menu. You'd love it.

The beer was ice cold from the tap, fried cod and potato pancakes are the best I've had in along time it will be a place to be 1st on my list when looking to fish fry. The clam chowder is a great way to start, can't wait to check out the rest of the menu from burgers to chicken wings. Nice to have another clean low key for now corner bar back in the neighborhood.
