We chose the Hunt Club for our anniversary dinner, hoping for a great experience, and while the ambiance and service were lovely, the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered calamari, roasted chicken, and the Wagyu steak.Upon arrival, we were greeted by Lily, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Since the bar was full, she brought us water while we waited for our table, such a thoughtful touch. After we were told it would be a 30-minute wait for our food once we ordered, we received our calamari, which was decent. My husband also enjoyed a drink, the Ralph's Wisconsin Old-Fashioned. However, we overheard that bread and butter were available for an upcharge, but we were never offered it. I'm 8 months pregnant, so I would have gladly accepted it if offered. When our entrées arrived, my roasted chicken was delicious. Unfortunately, my husband's $82 Wagyu steak was overcooked, and the potato side was flavorless, resembling more of a pastry than a potato. We asked for the steak to be remade, and in the meantime, they allowed him to sample the overcooked steak... to mention as well meat quality was disappointing, we recommended going with a regular steak.. save your money this steak is not worth it. When the replacement steak arrived, half of it was medium-rare (as he ordered) and the other half well-done (again). We didn't want to wait any longer, so my husband just ate what he could, and they kindly offered us a complimentary crème brûlée.With so many great dining options within an hour radius, we had high hopes for the Hunt Club, but sadly, the food quality didn't meet the standard we expected. The ambiance and staff were fantastic, but the meal itself left us feeling disappointed. I really hope they've addressed their grill issues because, unfortunately, this was one of the worst $170 meals we've ever had. It left us feeling like we didn't get our money's worth and we will be telling others to go elsewhere. We were very disappointed with the food.

I will blame the Hunt Club for not training their staff properly. I can't blame the server. Everything was an effort from the moment we seated to the incorrect bill at the end. Food was SO not worth the price, steak was over cooked and served just naked on a big white plate. Nothing, no garnish, nothing. Tuna tar tar was the only thing good the whole meal. Do not spend the money, terrible experience.

We came for my birthday and loved the ambiance of this nice restaurant on the golf course. My tequila cocktail was refreshing as well. We were asked if we wanted bread service without being told we would be charged for it though, but the bread was warm and tasty with the trio of butters. We started with some oysters and crab cake on recommendation by the waiter. Both dishes were delicious and could taste the quality crab. For our entrees we had the wagyu steak and sea scallops upon recommendation by the waiter as well. The scallops were delicious and tender. The steak though was underwhelming especially for the price. We also had some glasses of Cabernet with the meal that were nice. I ordered a glass of Pinot noir as well, but this came in a goblet instead of a wine glass, which was off putting from a nice establishment. We went over to the bar for a last drink but took forever to get served - I asked for a glass of champagne and was charged $24 for extremely slow service and cheap champagne, which made me pretty frustrated with the overall experience. For how much we paid, I was hoping for better overall service and steak, but glad we tried it nonetheless!

We really enjoyed the food at hunt club and we eat A LOT of steaks! I thought the drink recommendations were spot on and the desserts were great. Not only this but this was by far the best traditional Caesar salad I ever had, what an awesome find in lake Geneva! Definitely recommend checking out as a date night. The one complaint I do have is the AC was blasting and cold even though it was only 69 degrees outside so just ensure to check the temperature of the dining room when we are in between weather.

A business meeting turned into a tornado warning! We were all escorted to the basement and the staff brought wine and chocolate cake! The food (what we had before sirens went off!) was delicious, staff amazing! Bravo!

Beautiful venue and good service giving it a 4 rating, food was a 3. We decided to sample an array of the smaller plates as we were not in the mood for an entree. That said, the food was under-whelming. We enjoyed the mussels, the beans were under-cooked. The tuna tartare was bland and boring with sliced avacados on the top that weren't even ripe. The truffle fries were OK, a little soggy for me. Service was very good.

Never being there before I chose this spot for a nice dinner with my wife and I on a weekend get away. On paper it seem to compare to many of the more expensive places we've eaten at before. Decor, service, food and drinks were good, but. The price point did not fit what you get for it. I get the "a la carte" thing with higher end restaurants, but for what you pay for a butcher block entre you would think a side salad or a cup of soup would at least come with it. We were never offered bread and from what I've read it would have been an upcharge for it. To me not having any sides whatsoever included with the main protein dishes, or free bread for the table just seems tacky/cheap for such a high end place. Rating would be much better as the food was great, but cheeping out on sides & bread killed the vibe.
