Hooligan's

I am shocked that this isn't a five star restaurant!!! This is the most quality bar food in the city, hands down best burgers in town!!! we especially love the Hooli burger, and the tuna melt, when they're on the menu. Fries are always buss and the staff is so sweet and friendly. Gorgeous interior, super cozy with a beautiful bar. Truly a Milwaukee landmark/treasure!!!

Food: 3.7/5: got the chicken tenders, they were good, but not amazing. Fries were pretty good. I'd say the ranch was also tastyService: 4.5/5: they were quick with my drinks and food. Also seemed to know some people, which is a good sign for a neighborhood barAmbience 4/5: downstairs was small, I didn't check out the upstairs though. They had college football on all the TVs which was nice. Overall: 4/5. A good local spot with quality service. Id go back to snag some beers. Excited to try it when it's nice out

Amazingly great food. Can't go wrong with any option on their menu! I order almost all their options every time I go here.

Been here a few times. Food is okay, nothing special. Beer list is pretty good but nothing you can't find anywhere else less than a block away. Service is horrible, the common "I don't want to work" attitude from the staff. Was at a table of 4, on 2nd floor, ordered a beer then before I finished my beer the waitress comes and asks "anything else?" Waits 2 seconds max, then stacks my unfinished beer with my friends and says "I'll grab the check". Easily never coming back here ev

Cool vibe in the middle of town. Delicious franks. Drinks are well priced. Inside and outside seating.

Food was delicious. Blue cheese coleslaw was the best!Loved the atmosphere and choice of beer. Crowd was warm and friendly!

Great fish fry friendly staff nice atmosphere always try to go at least twice a month. Burgers are decent the wings are awesome.

Great Friday Night Fish Fry. Walleye dinner was good and a proper Old Fashion even better. Nice outdoor seating and service.

Me and my buddy arrived at 7:30. We had a couple of beers that came out in a timely fashion. Then we ordered our food which also came out decently quick, now I'm drunk and full sitting here for my 45th minute at 9:12 waiting for my check. Our waiter hasn't looked our way the whole time. Priorities...

Went to this place in 2018 after a Brewers vs Cubs game. The food was nothing special, but hit the mark for a bar like this. The beer was cold and the layout was nice, but a drunken patron by the name of Patrick kept chatting me up about his "career" as an author. He gave me his number and told me to call him for copies of his books, I didn't bother, but fate brought us together over political protests and now the guy follows me all over twitter calling me Robert, which isn't even my name. None of that is the bar's fault who seemingly have banned him now, but it always reminds me of Hoolies when I see Pat tweeting to "Robert".
