The food is fantastic. I come here all the time, it's my favorite sushi spot in the area. Everything I have ordered here I have enjoyed and I try to order different items every time I visit. The service is fast, friendly, extremely professional and always with a smile. There's a reason it's my go to. They provide hibachi style, conventional restaurant table service or sushi bar service. The tables and floors are always immaculately cleaned. I cannot recommend this place enough. There's many reasons why I keep coming back. It's isn't Michelin star dining. But it's better than the average sushi spots in the area by far. Highly recommend this spot for a date, family get together, birthday, or even if you just want to get some sushi solo because you are craving some.

We used to come here pre-covid and it was much better back then. The wife and I went for her birthday and it was abysmal. The service was SO slow (one waitress for all the Hibachi tables) We were seated along with another party of six and most times they were addressed separately and we were only acknowledged when we called the waitress. The shrimp was over cooked, the vegetables under cooked and the medium rare filet I ordered had ZERO pink, it was thoroughly cooked all the way through. When I asked the chef "this is medium rare?" He just gave me a gruff "yes" and then went back to serving others. Really made her birthday dinner a not so fun night out. We will NOT be back.

Place is a joke went in for habachi and was told not today so i decided to order a bento thinking i was going to get full think again this bento was to small and the rolls the made is a mockery was still hungry i also got two signature rollls and let me just say they were far from signature they had 5 sushi chefs just standing there and the made these sorry ass rolls waw wont be back smh i was more embarrassed them they were for this presentation

The staff is friendly and service is fast. The mushroom soup was flavorful and just what I was looking for because I had a scratchy through. The tempura roll had lettuce in it which I was not expecting. I was not a fan of the texture. The fried rice had a lot of egg in it but great flavor. The shrimp were huge. They are currently getting a new roof put on the building so it was loud the entire time I was there. That was a bit annoying but hopefully it will only take a few days to complete the job. I would definitely get the soup again and maybe ask for no egg in the rice.

Located in a strip mall, Honada doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that stop you from going in. Our party of 7 visited on a Saturday night, and there were people waiting inside the door to get in. Although we were hoping for hibachi, they were simply to busy to accommodate this request, so we grabbed a larger table nearby. Altogether we ordered the crab rangoon, shrimp tempura, 3 sushi rolls, yaki udon soup and 2 hibachi plates. Everything was served quickly and very good. The Volcano and Double Spicy Rolls I ordered were fantastic. If you like a little spice with your sushi, I absolutely recrecommend the Double Spicy! Both rolls were a generous size, and the 2 together were fresh, flavorful and filling! My husband, big on Udon soup, loved his choice. The bowl was huge and packed with fresh ingredients and hot delicious broth. If you're in the mood for Japanese, Honada is a great choice.

No hibachi table side on Mondays should have been the tip we should have gone elsewhere. We ventured in for a birthday dinner. The food was decent with regard to portion sizes.The soup and salad showed up and the soup was warm, not as rich as we are accustomed to in visits to other "Hibachi" restaurants. It only went down hill from here. The salad was okay, the dressing was okay, but it lacked the crispy snap that we are accustomed to in a ginger dressing. The sushi was the vibrant, fresh and the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately we did not just stay with sushi for dinner. We also ordered hibachi. The food was cooked to order, but lacked flavor outside of garlic in the rice. There was no flavor explosion when bitting into the teriyaki meats, the veggies were crispy and tasted raw.Service was so so as we had communication issues with our server and he never refilled the drinks. Ambience was nice. We did see an epic sushi bridge which we wished we would have ordered.

Staff lie about times for hibachi. I been going here for years and sometimes they'll let you eat the lunch special and then they'll tell you they don't do the hibachi for lunch special. Then one time a staff told me "why do you only come for lunch!" Just lazy workers that only wanna do what they want.

This place is popular. Plan on a short wait that is well worth it. Very friendly and courteous staff. Seating is at a U shaped counter allowing you to watch food prep and see what everyone is having. Makes you want to try more. The sushi rolls are prepared right in front of you. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
