I ordered for delivery and the food arrived hot and in great shape. The delivery person was polite and considerate. The food was delicious. In fact I think the crust on this pizza has been my favorite crust of any thin crust pizza in the area. The meatloaf portion size was absolutely huge and it was wonderful... Truly homemade. lots of variety on the menu..

I see no reason why this place is called historic. It is like a corner bar with a small restaurant in the back. Just like hundreds of other ones in the Milwaukee area. The pizza was good if you like thin crust, but they could have been more generous with the toppings. What baffled me was that a can of soda ($4) cost more than a mixed drink ($3.50).

Always a fan of this bar. The staff and owners are extremely polite and the drink prices are reasonable. It's a great place to watch a packer game with locals and they even run a season long raffle where the grand prize is a trip to a resort. The pizza is great and they even did a recent moderate remodel. Family owned for a long time.

ordered pizza tonight (07/23/24). good but very very chincey on toppings, this was a sausage and onion. it had 5 pieces of sausage on the whole pizza!?!?!

This has been a bookmark for a while and when my co worker said he goes here all the time and he went last night because they have good pizza I thought that I would stop over for a beer and some pizza. The place is a small bar with some tables in the back rooms to be a bar/restaurant with a better than a bar menu. The menu is better than the neighborhood bar menu with sandwiches, dinners, apps and pizza etc.The bar is a dive in a good way with locals talking and the walls are filled with trinkets of every king which makes it feel cozy. The beer was not as cold as I like it but they have a few taps from domestic to a little better and I had the summer shanty and ordered a medium sausage and pepperoni pizza.I was delighted to see that it was thin crust because I like thin crust and it smelled really good also. The thin crust was crispy on the edges but not in the pizza as a whole which was ok. The pizza was delicious with great chunks of tasty sausage and the just right amount sauce that was not sweet or garlicky. It had a Parmesan sprinkle on top added and cooked into the pizza that gave it a seasoned tangy flavor that complemented the pizza nicely. It had the perfect amount of cheese sausage and pepperoni for a thin crust pizza.Overall I completely enjoyed my pizza and I will say it's pretty dam good for bar pizza and I would definitely get it again.

Nice local haunt with an interesting and lengthy history. The breaded cod was some of the best in the area and a welcomed option to beer battered. Hefty portions for a reasonable price with friendly service. Plus SALTED rye!! Glad we stopped and will be back for pizza.
