Whenever in the area we go to Hillside Bakery. Great baked goods at fair prices. Just remember to take cash. Cash only is common in these parts.

this is an awesome bakery, I just hope to find my way back there again. My husband loved the Cherrie pie and the raspberry muffin I picked for him. I loved the donuts very good tasting.

Saw the ad in the paper that Saturday is the only day they have donuts, so we wanted to be sure to hit it for the kids and the whole family. It's outside of town by 5 minutes, so perfect drive to enjoy coffee.Pleasantly surprised by the enormous choices in the bakery. See photos. Breads, pecan rolls, cinnamon rolls, warm fresh donuts, cookies, turnovers, brownies, turtles, pies, giant danish ring, etc. The selection was great and we loved everything we bought for breakfast as the pecan and cinnamon rolls were fresh and a quick 15 seconds in the microwave was just the ticket.Absolutely worth the trip.

Go on Saturday so you can get the donuts! Tastes like heaven! We also got molasses cookies and cinnamon rolls. This could become a weekly tradition.

Okay, I'll give you that the peanut butter cookies are delish! Yet the gent assured that the cinnamon rolls were going to be great too. So Mums and I were looking forward to our breakfast that next morning. I even joked with him if they would be as good as my Great Gma's!Well, the biggest difference between my Great Gma's and these cinnamon rolls were that she USED CINNAMON and didn't roll them out one inch thick!! It was more like dry bread texture vs. soft roll and there was very little cinnamon. We took pictures it was so disappointing--I was fooled by the Amish baking moniker and we won't be again!
