Good lawd I love this place! Have to stop in every time I'm in town. Always have ordered the tips. So smokey and delicious! Love the spicy sauce. Fries are fantastic. And the white bread to sop is my favorite way to end the meal. Have been getting the tips here for as long as I can remember.

Everyone in this place has an attitude like it's your fault they work there. First time there and the lady was frustrated when I asked a question about my food that I'm paying for. I should of walked out after seeing the Flys everywhere but I had an hour wait waiting on my car to get fixed across the street. I should of just went to McDonald's because their BBQ was trash and my brisket sandwich was a little tray with 2 slices of bread drowned in this thick nasty sauce. $30 down the drain for that garbage food. NEVER AGAIN

Always very yummy. I love their coleslaw. Staff was very nice. Definitely a must have in Waukegan:)

It's been awhile since I've gone to Hillary's. Rib tips and catfish were so good! No complaints. Will be going back .

No one can beat the flavor of their sauce. Hands down it is the best!! Love that tang.

Go in for the lunch special. It ends at 2pm Monday - Friday. I recommend getting the sauce on the side just in case.

BBQ Ribs, Chicken Wing, I come to Hillary's sometimes when I visit Waukegan. My partner is from this town and he used always brag about this Bbq place. So when visit it a lot when he comes home. The cole slaw is very very good.The BBQ taste very good too. The meal comes with fries. The bbq is wrapped in foil to keep a little warm.You get a lot of food for the price. I found out they have been around for along time.

Been driving 25 miles one way for over 30 years for their tips and catfish. the catfish is deep south, just like my Grandma Jones used to make. And their sauce? Forget about it. Can't be reproduced- trust me I've tried. I always buy the $75 pan of tips and a half gallon of sauce when I do go their. Thank you for all the years of not changing!

Ordered to go -- Brisket sandwich, All you get is some tough meat floating in a tub of BBQ sauce and a couple pieces of plain white bread in a baggy -- This place is a Joke -- If you want good BBQ in Waukegan, then go to Big Ed's -- nicer people and good food

I don't think I have ever had worse BBQ in my life! Lol... Even by Waukegan's low standards, this place is horrible. The sauce is the nastiest sauce I've ever tasted. The meat isn't good (salty yet underseasoned), the sides are trash, and the customer service is very Waukegan'ish. I'm not going to beat up on them too bad, but don't waste your time going there!!! You've been warned.
