Hillcrest Family Restaurant

We've lived in Kenosha for 15 years but only discovered this restaurant about 2 years ago - always thought it was closed down since the sign is a little old. We quite literally go every Saturday that we're in town. Service is always fast and perfect, food always hits. Everything on the menu is good, we haven't had one item that was a miss. The best part is their homemade soups - unmatched! Highly recommend!

Great breakfast! This place is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Service is fast and waitresses are very good. I have never had a bad experience.

Breakfast today was delicious. We both ordered the one egg plate over medium with crispy bacon, grits and pancakes. Everything was delicious. The coffee was hot and the service was spot on.

Yummy yummy. We moved from Washington recently and finally found some good cafe style food! Makes me so happy. We will definitely be back. I worked in a cafe for a few years so makes me feel warm and cozy. The food was delicious staff was wonderful. Can't wait to return for another meal! Prices are great as well. We went on a busy Sunday morning around 10:30 and everyone was working so hard and had great customer service.

Nice to hear "I don't want these two" from your waitress as you enter the restaurant.Angelic was our waitress super fake, not to mention took 10 mins to get our order taken. Pretty good breakfast ,typical family restaurant menu .very good coffee. Wouldn't have a problem going back . Waitress was excellent snd very pleasant. ( Jody )

The restaurant was very clean and lively. There's a great crowd of customers in there and the staff is always super friendly. You can really tell they work together like a family. The food is just as great as their service. It's full of flavor, comes out hot, and the best part is you're always eating in less than ten minutes of placing your order. This place is definitely one of Kenosha's hidden gems. 10/10 would recommend!

The food tastes fresh and homemade. The servers are friendly and quick. Love the warm atmosphere

I've tried going back, thinking it was a bad day for cook. Not so. I will find another place for breakfast. Quality of food is not good.

Restaurant is very clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Full menu and appealing specials. I ordered a pancake combo; husband ordered gyro skillet. Skillet was hot and flavorful. My pancake combo was delicious but cold. I was starving so I just ate it and still enjoyed it. Don't bother with the coffee. Its literally brown water. I want to come back and some point to try the monte cristo.
