Hideaway Bar and Grill

As boaters, we always park on the lake. There is a fair amount of seating, although inside are high tops which is tough for some people. The bar needs to have more plastic wine glasses for outside. I don't live drinking that beverage in a tumbler. My spaghetti sauce was very tasty. Everyone liked their meals too. The prices are reasonable.

So California Boy (that would be me) flew into Wisco to visit the family this week. Wisco Boy (that would be my younger brother) throws four of us into the car and we end up here. Where is here? I do not have a clue. There were a lot of turns and unmarked streets....thanks to the genius who invented GPS....cuz I would have surrendered if I had to use the Ole Thomas Guide ...I mean look at the Hideaway's address!! I can't even decipher that thing....it looks like coordinates for calling in a mortar attack...Anyway, we sit in the outdoor patio, and the wonderful Liv took care of us. Cocktail? Don't mind if I do, Young Liv. A warmup margarita, and then one of their award winning Bloody Mary's. Seriously. They just won some humongous Bloody Mary Contest on the Summerfest Grounds. Verdict: terrific! Get one!As for food, the four of us dined on a Cobb Salad, a smash burger (topped by cheese curds!), chicken Caesar wrap, and I forgot the fourth meal because I was focused on the Bloody Mary. All I know is that we were truly impressed by the quality food coming out of the kitchen. My "bar by the lake" expectations were low because, hey, we are here to drink by the lake. But they are truly putting out an excellent product from the kitchen. If you have been here, you know. If you haven't, come. You will enjoy the atmosphere, service, food, and cocktails. But use your GPS or I will NOT be responsible for you wandering the earth until the end of time....

Food lobster risotto, French dip & tuna melt were delicious! Service was excellent & the weather was perfect for sitting on the lake!

Best bloodies on the lake. Great, laid back atmosphere. Come out and chill and don't rush through the experience. Food is good. Lots of boat parking.

Great service, cold drinks, very good food with great daily specials. Fun activities all week like painting and bingo. Bands Saturday occasionally. A fun time!

The patio is right in front of the lake with the best view on Okauchee Lake! Servers and bartenders are the best!

Such a relaxed astrosphere and amazing food. Everything we had was great flavor. Friendly waitstaff. Will be back. Bang bang shrimp is the best!

Drinks were fine. We had an appetizer and the chips were stale. Sat inside the bar and the music was really loud for such s small area.

My friends and I had a great time at Hideaway today. The food was awesome and the bartenders were friendly and fast. We grabbed drinks and food and had friends pick us up with their boat from the bar. The nightlife after surfing was the best in town.

This is one of the best places for a fantastic and enjoyable meal and a cocktail. Staff is very nice, food was great and the view is awesome. It's a place to RELAX and have fun at. We will definitely be back.
