Harpoon Willie's

This is a classic spot in Williams Bay after some time on Lake Geneva. My wife and I came here for dinner on Saturday and were able to get a table right away. They have a good selection of beers, wines... we ordered some calamari, a hamburger and the seared tuna sandwich. We had a mixup on our drinks, but our server sorted it out for us quickly. The food was tasty and came out quickly. The decor is purposely touristy/ tacky and there are lots of tvs with sports on.

My son and I had such a wonderful experience at Harpoon Willie's. Honestly it's been awhile since we'd eaten there. We sat in their heated indoor patio. It was comfortable and quiet. It was heated so we weren't cold.We started off with the cheese curds accompanied by ranch dressing. My son had a spotted cow & I had a Moscow Mule. Robbie was our server and his suggestions were honest and wonderful. My son had the blackened tuna accompanied by homemade potato chips. I had a bowl of chili topped with melted cheese and homemade cornbread. I ended up taking some home.Robbie was attentive making sure we were having a wonderful experience.This will be our go to lunch spot. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to relax and have a great lunch.

Great local pub with fun Wisconsin decor and good bar food. The signature margarita is tasty, and this time around I tried some of the food too during lunch. The chicken ceasar salad was delicious but on the smaller side - I got my chicken grilled but blackened also seemed like a great option. The hot chicken wings were also delicious. The waffle fries were a nice tasty side as well. Will have to try some of the other grub next time!

Not bad but not great. Expensive for a hamburger . Forgot I already had tried it . Service very slow. Bill was wrong and beware of service charge.

Great food. Nice view near the lake. Service was quick and prompt. Burgers were great as well as as the cheese curds. Perfect for lunch.

Stopped in to grab some dinner. Typical bar menu with all the classics. Ended up going with the bowl of chili and a Caesar side salad. The chili was really good and had crushed tomatoes in it that made it that much better. The cornbread was out of this world. Honestly some of the best I've tasted and I don't say that lightly. Incredibly moist and just sweet enough.The Caesar salad on the other hand was extremely bad. Everything from the bagged lettuce, to the shaved Parmesan, to the dressing that resembled ranch and didn't necessarily taste like Caesar. I honestly don't know what it was. I also ordered a Negroni that tasted off as well. I didn't watch them make it but I'm guessing they don't have sweet vermouth and used something else as a replacement. Menu is hit or miss but staff is cool and it's convenient to the lake.

The atmosphere and food were enjoyable. The area where the waiters hang out was right next to us. They were loud, throwing ice cubes and one kid was asking the other how he pees?? They need to move this area. There were 5 people standing around doing nothing. As a patron this was very annoying.

The ambiance was quaint.... the service was excellent.... Was a quiet night.... The food was just okay.... Harpoon Willie's cheese curds appetizer had the pepper Jack cheese missing from the top. The portobello mushroom sandwich was mostly bread.... the broasted chicken was very salty and tasted almost freezer burnt..... got lots of food though..... waffle fries were good.

The food and service was great! We had a salad and Marguerite pizza, both were amazing! Would recommend it to anyone!

Well, this place is located in Wisconsin. That means Green Bay Packer country. On Dec 5th, the Packers were playing the Detroit Lions in a BIG game. This place had a live band at the same time of the game. They had it on the TV. If you are stopping in this place for sports, don't. Also, tried to order pizza at 9:02pm. The kitchen closes at 9pm so don't expect to catch a break.
