Handen Distillery

Cute storefront tasting room in Cedarburg with the distillery in the back. I visited with my mom recently during a festival. They offered a special flight for the event. We very much enjoyed the barrel aged gin. It was excellent and interesting. It's a more citrusy style versus a pure juniper gin.We tried a few of the bourbons, which were vastly different from one another.Our favorite was the port barrel finished bourbon.The space is small, but charming. They also sell by the bottle.Definitely worth a visit.

Locally owned. Beautiful place. Great tasting liquors. You can get samples and flights. They have cocktails and seasonal cocktails. Clean. Bright. Friendly workers.

Stopped in Hamden Distillery for the first time since pre-covid. Such a cute place with nice decor and of course - great drinks. Admittedly, I'm not a big drinker but the berry-berry drink was one of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had. So tasty!! Sweet, but clearly not from artificial flavors where it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. My friends enjoyed their drinks as well - a cranberry drink and bourbon. Will definitely be back!

Had a girls day in Cedarburg with my girlfriends. We had stopped here while shopping and each had a cocktail. My drink was Gin based and had some pumpkin spice in it. It was perfect for fall and would love to drink many more

This place was amazing. We arrived 10 minutes before closing. Luck would have it the owner/ master distiller was working the counter. We were able to get a flight of the whiskey and bourbons he was making. I'm a bit of a whiskey guy. This place is doing it right. Most of the time you go to a new distillery the bourbon/whiskey has a "green" flavor. It's a forced flavor. Not at Handen. Whiskeys and bourbons were on point. We had a great conversation with the owner. Such a great time for just making it before closing. Bought a bottle to bring home. Cheers!!

Ton of mixers featuring their award winners. Came and checked it out during Cedarburg Winterfest. It was pretty busy, but the bartenders did a great job. They were polite and checked in after you got your drink to see if everything was good. Place was clean and my Suess themed drink with their barrel aged Whiskey was great! Definitely visit again.

This is a fantastic local spot that just opened in late 2018. The bourbons were great but we had never tried a barrel aged gin, and that's what we walked away with. Highly recommend for a date night, although they had tables that would probably accommodate a bigger group too. Gluten free-ers should definitely check this out!

Very nice atmosphere and good customer service. The quality of the alcohol was good but it is a little overpriced.

From the cocktails to the conversation, this place is great! Their Original Gin and Mill Race Whiskey are my favorites, but there are no poor choices at Handen.

I almost didn't want to write this review so it stays low key and special but I can't contain my excitement. The wonderful service and ambiance inside this historic building is something you would expect on the west coast or in a major city. From the moment we walked in, the service was extremely personalized and attentive, but beyond that and what made it so special was how informative it was. Women owned establishments just do it better, I cannot lie. Can't wait to return and do more sampling!
