This was the new restaurant of the week and it seems fairly new with a now open sign in the front. Don't use the front door and go around back to get in. The place is a repurposed because it has a huge parking lot with halls to rent and a large Mexican restaurant. There is tables, booths and a huge bar. The menu is huge and I was brought chips and salsa while looking it over. I skipped my normally ordered margarita after 2 of the only 3 reviews said the margaritas were not very good etc. The chips were seasoned nicely, fresh and crispy with a nice ground corn flavor. The salsa was weird because it was a green creamy sauce with some heat that I liked. I ordered the taco dinner with rice and beans.Since I was the only person in the restaurant my service was good and my food came quick but my server didn't seem to have a real grasp on the English language because after she took my order the cook came to my table and said that they didn't have carnitas or shrimp at the moment, I ordered the steak, Al pastor and chorizo tacos I tell the cook and he says we got that.My taco plate looked good with Mexican style tacos and you can get Americanized also. The rice didn't taste like much but I'm good to mix in the beans and salsa. The beans were average with some cheese sprinkled in. I tasted all the meats before I dug in. The Al pastor was tender with a sweet flavor with fat in it. The steak was ok but it had gristle in it. The chorizo had a big overpowering vinegar flavor instead of the usual hint of vinegar and the least liked meat on my plate because it was too sharp.Overall I found this Mexican taco dinner to be average at best when there are better choices around town and I'm not it was bad but I have been to most of the Mexican restaurants in town and I feel there are better options.

The food was ok but the noise was crushing. The live music was so intrusive it was impossible to enjoy the meal. Add in a few children running around the tables and crying and you have a less than enjoyable experience.

Super friendly staff, fanciest house margarita I've ever had especially considering it was happy hour, parrillada de Mexico was fresh and flavorful with all meat perfectly cooked! Will go back for sure. Wishing this new Greendale restaurant good luck!

We chose this place for our Sunday lunch book club meeting. The first thing we noticed was the VERY LOUD Mexican music, and since we needed to be able to converse about our book selection, we asked that the volume be turned down a bit. That didn't happen... although they did seat us somewhat away from the speakers. The menu is large, the food was decent, but i thought the prices were higher than average. Service was ok, not great.Consensus from our group that it's not a place we'd return to.

We went here tonight. Margarita's were weak and not very good. Salsa tasted like stewed tomatoes. Food was poor. If you don't like corn tortillas and ask for your meal made with flour tortillas you will pay more. We did not know this until the bill came. There are so many fabulous Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee, don't waste your time with this one!!

Did not feel like a Mexican restaurant. It was not inviting and tv was on instead of music most of our meal. They have live music, so I'd like to return for that. Chips were good, hot sauce was unique. Margaritas could have tasted less like a sugar drink and had more tequila in them. I think there's potential but I've had so much better Mexican in Milwaukee area. Waiter was good and pleasant but we had to request water, silverware, and refills.

The food pretty much all tasted the same. Heavy thick tomato type sauce even on the steak fajitas. Our appetizer was served after our food was brought out. Our waitress could not answer any of our question. The food was cold and bland. My rice had exactly one single pea in it. Expensive bland food. Taco Bell does better.
