Greenfield Community Center

So, this used to be the Greenfield Library. Now, it's a community center. I don't know much about it, other than this is where I come to vote, so you'll have to rely on the other reviews for more information. During elections, it's pretty empty in the main room, other than for a few registration tables and voting booths. I really can't believe that this was a library, unless there is a (huge) basement, and I've been here when it WAS the library! Emptied out, the space is very bright and I can see that it would make a decent spot to hold a party or celebration of some sort. I'll have to keep this place in mind if I ever need space for a shindig!42/2015

I have been here for a baby and wedding shower and each time i was impressed. The facility is always clean, quiet, and is a reasonable size for a party of 75 or less. I asked about rates for renting - it is $30 down payment for 3 hours plus $100 for damage coverage. You get the $100 back after if you left it in shape. So really 3 hours for $30! Sweet! Will definitely organize any parties i may have here!

My family and I attended a party here last night and our first thoughts were this place looked pretty nice. It is located in a nice neighborhood next to the City Hall with a pretty ample parking lot. When we were entering the venue the community center's crew held the doors open for us and were very attentive. Everything was perfect! The place has a everything you need to organize a party: large kitchen area, clean bathrooms and not to mention the actual sitting area holds about 100 people more or less. I was rather impressed but the reason why I am giving the center 2 stars is because they did not let the DJ play loud music. I mean I am sure you ask people what kind of party they will be having and how many people will be attending. So the DJ is playing and a couple of guys kept going to tell the DJ to turn the music down. Who are we bothering? The area is isolated from any other open businesses or residential buildings. They then called the cops and had the party over before midnight which was the time the party was going to originally end. We had a great time except when the guys kept crossing the dancing area and turning down the music and calling the cops... That just looked plain ridiculous!

We recently held a birthday party here and it was by far the worst experience with a hall we have ever experienced. The staff kept coming in ever 10-15 minutes to complain. We were not allowed to have the DJ turn up the music over a certain volume. The hall was rented until 12, but they didn't care since they made the DJ shut off his music at 11:10 while people were still dancing. Although it is a spacious hall the staff a terrible experience coming in so often, as though we were being babysat.
