We walked in as a party of 4 on a busy Saturday morning and were immediately greeted. He found a table for us and a few minutes later a waitress took our drink order. The new Granny's is very cute and more updated than the last location. Newer. Food was fresh and fast. And absolutely delicious!!!!! You can't beat the price for the amount you get either. We had leftovers ! Garbage plate always is a good choice. Omelette delicious. Pancakes were fluffy and moist. Granny's is our go to spot around the area and we were very excited to try their new location. Definitely an improvement from the last.

Waited 40 minutes for our food. First attempt and the order was wrong and that was after 25 minutes. Sent that food back and after another 15 minutes I asked for the owner who had popped his head out from the kitchen. He walk over but had no time for me, told me so and walked away. I gave his business 40 minutes of my time and he couldn't spare 2 minutes. There were no people waiting for a table. We Walked out without eating and Won't be back to either location. I suggest taking down your card about contacting you when dissatisfied with a meal.Extremely disappointed in the owner's attitude. Permanent loss of customer business.

I stopped here on my way to Wisconsin for the first time and what a mistake. I waited for a while until I got a waitress with no clue what she was doing.I ordered the eggs Benedict and the hollandase sauce was watered down and eggs were like hard boiled eggs and burnt potatoes.it was HORRIBLE. I did not eat it this and complained to this waitress and she got mad and said her boyfriend is the cook. She then told me to go eat elsewhere very rudely.I asked to speak to the manager and she said she is the manager.UNBELIEVABLE. This place is a joke . Waste of time and money. Don't waste your time here you'll be very disappointed . I looked into this restaurant and learned it's their 4th location. They all closed down. I See why.

Dined here today for breakfast. Service was very good. We were seated promptly and given menus with the daily specials by the host. Our waitress showed up to take our drink orders. While we made a our decisions. My wife ordered blueberry french crepes and she loved them. I went with Grandma's Big Bowl. What led me to the decision was it had potato pancakes. It was my mistake in assuming they were the real deal. The turned out to be preformed deep fried hashbrowns. I ordered my eggs over medium and the were more towards hard. Coffee cup was never empty! This place is one of many that I guess depends on having slot machines to supplement their income. I am not a fan of that model.

Been coming here since we were little. 4th generation and I feel like a kid again. Amazing meal by a fantastic staff.

I had their specialty, Granny's Big Bowl. It was to include 3 eggs, potato pancakes, and corned beef hash.I was completely disappointed. 1) eggs were ordered over easy. Got them all between medium and hard.2) The "corned beef hash was hash browns with a few pieces of corned beef mixed in.3) The potato pancakes looked and tasted like they came out of a can.For their so-called specialty item, it basically was terrible.

I ordered a pork chops sandwich and received a pulled pork sandwich. When I arrived home I called and everyone I talked to was very rude. I was hung up on twice.

I've eaten at Granny's many times, the foods great, and the service is quick and always correct. Whether your a party of 2 or 20, you won't be disappointed

Edit: owner blocked my review from granny diner richmond IL FB page. Came in for monthly Sunday breakfast and the owner was running the show. We were waiting inline and he skipped us to ask the people behind us for their name for the wait list. I said to my husband, I think we got skipped, we continued to wait and owner skipped us AGAIN and my husband finally spoken up and owner got shitty and showed us the name pad and said see these names? My husband said, Not once have you asked us for ours. I am 9 months pregnant, we will never go back there, that was our breakfast spot and now we will find a new one. Owner is a huge inconsiderate piece of sh*t, always super short staffed too which doesn't bother us.Don't go there 9 months pregnant, you'll never get seated and the owner severely lacks customer service skills and does intentional acts of disgrace to regular customers because he didn't "like our attitudes" when he kept skipping us and he got confronted.

Was there for breakfast... meal egg omelet with hash browns and toast. I don't know exactly what it was perhaps the oil they fry in... The whole breakfast tasted as if it was fried in a ransit/old oil . Not good at all.Took 2 bites and left the rest. Waitress was clueless not very well trained or perhaps first job/or day for her.Owner not friendly at all... maybe if you know him but not to new customers.Thumbs down on this one.......Instead of calling it GRANNYS it should be called GRUMPY'S.
