Holy crap! Grandma Mary's slapped my greasy buns! This was an awesome breakfast place and gave us the fuel for house on the rock. See this glorious breakfast spread in the picture for the evidence! The waitress was a little sassy too, which is a true mark of a classic diner. 10/10

We came in here late afternoon on a Friday and I really wanted to like Grandma Mary's. Like really wanted to. And parts were very good and others lacking. Very hit or miss. Let's start with the good. First the service. Spot on! Our server was fun, happy, friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about here. I had the cod, beer battered, with French fried cole slaw. The fish portion was smaller than expected, but perfectly cooked, and I mean perfect. The fries were also great and plentiful. The cole slaw was creamy and tasty. Another of us got the roast beef dinner with American fries (pas fried potatoes) and the chicken and dumpling soup. The roast beef was very good and the potatoes were excellent. The soup was terrible however; it tasted more like corn starch than anything else. We didn't finish it. The other got the all you can eat shrimp with French fries and past a salad. The shrimp were good and the fries as well, but the pasta salad just meh. The restaurant itself is cute and spacious. The main issue with Mary's is that they seem to just be going through the motions. Their clientele are mostly on the older side and maybe they aren't very critical. Or maybe there aren't that many alternatives in the area. But what could be a really great place with amazing food ends up being just meh overall. What they do well, they do exceedingly well. But you have to find those things.

Great food, great service. So good in fact we went back for breakfast the next day. The special of the day Cordon Bleu skillet was a wonderful combination of chicken, ham, eggs and sauce!! Coffee was great and staff very pleasant. Appears to be the local hangout, meet up spot, community gathering space. Highly recommend

This is a great little cafe if you want a late breakfast or delicious lunch. The menu is quite vast so you're sure to find something to order. One of my dining mates had the Granny's Breakfast which included eggs your way, a meat and either pancakes or French toast. It was really enough for two hungry people! She was happy with the food, the service and the price.I had the Reuben sandwich which came with chips. I love that the thousand Island dressing is served on the side! It was a huge sandwich on fresh marble rye bread, delicious!Great food at Grandma Mary's!

Lunched there while waiting for my car at close by Specialty Auto. Sodium is a health concern so opted for the lowest sodium level choices available. My star rating indicates the food and my experience here.

After years of driving past Grandma Mary's on my way to Spring Green, I finally had the opportunity to give them a try after an overnight stay. A group of ten of us dined for breakfast. I wanted a little bit of everything and ordered Granny's Big Breakfast for $7. The combo I put together was two slices of french toast, two strips of bacon, and cheesy hash browns. The meal also comes with two eggs; I don't like eggs so I gave them to a table mate. PROS+ Extremely affordable+ Large portions+ Food isn't fancy, but solid and cooked to specification (crispy bacon was requested and received)+ Seems like a town hot spot - lots of regulars that appeared to know each other + Plenty of parkingCONS+ Fills up fast; two of us went early to claim a large enough table and if we hadn't done that we would have had an hour+ wait+ Not really equipped to handle large parties. Everything took forever from being able to order to getting our food, and one person's meal came out a good fifteen minutes past everyone else'sI probably wouldn't visit with a group again, but if I needed a cheap breakfast in the area with a normal-sized party I'd have no problem going back.

Stopped in for breakfast one day while out of town. Enjoyed the staff-very easy going-good service. The food is good!! Didn't leave hungry that's for sure! Very casual diner. Yes, I'd recommend Grandma Mary's!!

We stop by here every time we are in the vicinity. Great breakfasts and lunch! Lots of choice. This time hubby has the pot roast, and it was delicious and a huge portion too! Service is fine. Just plain, good home cooking for a reasonable price!
