I was eating in, but was served food in a box. The food itself looks good, but the vegetables and meat were "meh." The fried rice was good.
Chicken broccoli lunch special
Chinese beef curry. The vegetables were great, but I have no clue what cut of "beef" that was. Weird.

Solid options here. You really can't go wrong. Menu options are very approachable for those that don't want to venture too deep with Chinese cuisine. You'll find the usual suspects here. The biggest plus is that they offer their own delivery. This in itself is amazing. Why? Because UberEats and doordash both upcharge on menus. It's annoying really. Especially if you're having to pay delivery fees. Glad to see there's a Chinese spot in town that caters to the neighborhood. It's a game changer...

Quick service. Was accurate in filling the order. Great tasting wonton soup. We like chicken & broccoli in a garlic sauce, and they made it perfect. Just the way we like it; not too spicy. My sesame chicken, and all other meals, had fresh tasting ingredients. They may have been l alittle heavy on the spring roll wrapping, but it was still tasty.Next order: lo mien! And maybe a spicy version of the chicken & broccoli in garlic sauce.

Pretty good food. Plus I appreciate the packaging - it is always tight and carefully done so it doesn't soak the bottom of the bag. Steamed veggies are particularly good.

The only place we'll go for Chinese. Nowhere else compares. They are always fast, friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. We love it here!

Worst Chinese restaurant ever! Wish I can give them 0 stars. I went here for a $30+ pickup, well before closing hours and they claimed that they already gave my order to someone else and promised me to make another one, only to have them start to close up the shop and waste 20+ minutes of my time with no food. Still charged the full price also! The worst restaurant experiences ever.

This place is not fancy like Imperial Garden nor is it very home style Chinese like Fugu. But it fits the neighborhood well. The owners are super nice people and when I lived in the neighborhood, we had a nice little friendship. The food is on par with other take away Chinese restaurants around the Madison area.I stopped in to carry out dinner and not much has changed. The outside has been redone but the inside is still clean and simple. The menu is pretty much the same. I ordered the mei fun and the dinner special chicken and cashews. I get the crab Rangoon, too. They have the best deal on the Rangoon: ten pieces for under four dollars. It is a lot of food for twenty bucks, plus if you use the coupon on the counter, you get free soda. The owner threw in a free egg roll too. There is a TV in the corner showing Chinese films to keep you entertained during your brief wait for your food. But you don't wait long. From when I ordered to when I left, it was maybe at most 15 minutes. I am always satisfied when I come here.

I know I'll get hell for this, but the service could have been better had the employees at Grand China spoke decent English. When you serve the public, you should at least know the basics of their language. My ordering food was a stressful experience. I felt like I needed children's flash cards to communicate. As I predicted, the communication problem affected the order. I asked for a very small amount of broccoli in the main dish, giving a hand description of small, yet they dumped a whole tree in the dish. The main dish was very watery and bland. Doesn't look like the sauce they offered me was used. There were no snow peas that I asked for in the fried rice, and as for the main dish there were less of them than you could count on one hand. The Dr. Pepper was good. No ice for it though. I don't recommend this place... unless you take an intensive course in Mandarin.

Disgusting! They obviously pre make many of there items. When ordering takeout they just throw the dish into the microwave. Plastic container and all. The food always has that " microwaved in its plastic container " aftertaste. I ended up throwing it all away.

This used to b my fav Chinese place, I've noticed since covid the dumplings/pot stickers have changed, & for my preference not for the better. They're so much thinner dough, used to b thick & so good! Also they've increased the price also, for less product. bring the old recipe back please! The General Tso chicken is very good the sauce. They used to give free drink wOrder also but again not since covid.
