Gordy's Boat House Restaurant & Bar

Stopped by here for lunch to grab food to go. There's some nice seating both indoors and outdoors, and the indoor area wasn't too crowded with some bar seating. We were told to place our to go orders at the bar. Took a while to get noticed but after we put in our orders food came out quite quickly which is nice. Ended up also getting some chips and guac as we waited. The guac was seemingly just crushed up avocados with some salt, and then there was pico de gallo. The chips seemed fresh but not salted. I ended up adding chalula hot sauce which really helped. My flatbread was solid. Not incredible but definitely filling and tasted fine. The vinaigrette provided most of the flavor. A good choice if you need food quickly!

We sat on the pier to enjoy the sunny night for dinner. I got a refreshing margarita, and we also had the coconut shrimp, beer cheese dip, and ceasar salad. Everything was delicious! Definitely a great place for a casual bite by the water.

The lakeside location was a plus, but I found the food to be underwhelming, especially considering the price. The service was good/quick, but the place was empty when we were there. The best part of the meal was definitely the giant pretzel, which was as large as my hand.

A fantastic restaurant right across the street from beautiful Lake Geneva. We sat a the bar and it was outstanding. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were terrific. With plenty of televisions this is a perfect location to watch sports and cheer on your teams! Would highly recommend Gordy's! Looking forward to returning next time we are in the area!

Nice restaurant right on the edge of the lake, that is a staple on Lake Geneva.. I'm kind of disappointed. We went on a Friday afternoon. We sat inside, and despite it being slow, the service was poor. The staff mostly hung out at the bar versus waiting on the tables. I had been here many times throughout the years and it seemed kind of dirty. The food was just okay. Nothing that great. The cocktails were good though. I'll give it a try maybe the next time I visit Fontana.

The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was great! We'll be back! We even found free on-street parking!

Great fast service (we did have to ask for someone to start serving us). Big space. Great indoor and outdoor room. I had the walleye sandwich. It was way too much bread for the fish. Really good tarter sauce. My husband had the brisket tacos. Great flavor. The meat was pretty chewy however.

Everything was set up pretty good for coved. All workers wearing masks :). Gotta table on the water had to get my old fashion inside. Nice cocktail. Brought it down to the table. Was able to get the special inside at the waterfront. Outer skirt steak medium rare done to perfection with truffle fries! All very good. Really like the pesto and special flavoured Mao that came with it. My date got a Caesar salad with skirt steak. She really enjoyed the dressing and the nice cup of shaved parmesan cheese. This steak not so much. But Brett our server gave an order of shrimp as replacement and they were spectacular. Caesar salad with shrimp seems to be a real winner.

We always love going to Gordy's but the food isn't what it is to be prior to COVID. A great place to have a hamburger or sandwich after a day on the lake. Fun place to go both inside or on the patio. Hopefully they will go back to the larger menu and better options that they use to have.

Just ate dinner at Gordys! Great service, great people working there! But ordered the Shrimp dinner, at it was the most mini shrimp I have ever seen in my life! Each shrimp was at most an inch long! Crazy!
