Good City Brewing

Extremely convenient location if you are attending a Bucks game or show at Fiser Forum. Lots of tables and bar seating to choose from. When we ate here, we were asked to scan a code to order from your cell phone. If you're not comfortable ordering this way you were welcome to order in person at the bar.If you enjoy the pleasant scent that hits you when you walk into the restaurant, I encourage you to order their CURRY FRIES. They are absolutely delicious!!

Service was good as usual. Beer selection was good. The Oktoberfest was easy drinking. We had burgers and they were really good, fries included which is always nice. It was pretty quiet, but it hasn't been as busy lately so the music seemed louder than usual.One thing I want to make note of: they are charging a 3% "restaurant fee" now on top of tip and tax (for non-food items). It's not my favorite thing to be hit with an extra fee but I guess it's becoming standard for the restaurant industry.ETA: Apparently the charge is on (some) menus. It wasn't on the one we received. To be clear, I'm not angry, I just don't want people to be surprised.

We stumbled into Good City Brewing while we were just brewery hopping in town; it was a Friday afternoon, so it was pretty quiet - but we loved it! We all enjoyed flights and one friend enjoyed their non-alcoholic options. We also tried the cheese curds (big YUM!) and the pickled veggies. This place has a cool vibe and definitely seems like a good hangout spot; they have board games for customers to play and great service.

Came back and once again loved the food! The cheesecurds are good but nothing special - I think the cauliflower I got last time should still be the go-to for people coming. The dipping sauce for the cheesecurds was really good though! Also got the blackened chicken sandwich and it was really good with lots of spice and fresh veggies! Servers were nice and will still come back again

I love a good happy hour and Good City did not disappoint! They do happy hour M-F 3pm-6pm, deals include $2 off drafts, $1 off wine, cider and hard seltzer. The food was delicious, you can't go wrong with their curry fries! We had some onion rings on their specialty menu and the Rachel sandwich and Rueben and everything was very tasty! The bartender was friendly and helpful and the space is a nice open concept with a wide range of seating options!

We have been coming to Good City for years and it's always a great place for a beer, a cocktail, and some food. My go to is always a burger (bacon brew burger) with Curry fries (best fries in the area), but I got a Rueben with a Bloody Mary this time. The Rueben was very good and flavorful! The loaded Bloody Mary also hit the spot for Sunday brunch. Always recommend Good City to beer lovers visiting Milwaukee!

Food and ambiance was great.Unfortunately we ordered gluten-free bun, and was definitely not GF for my wife this will cause serious issues Really wish server was more careful

Quality/Quantity - In summary, come here for the beer and service, not for the food, sorry.Came for Happy Hour, but ended up staying for dinner.Cheese Curds - You can almost not ruin this. It was good, but not as good as the other brewery we went to two days ago. See other Yelp.Good City Chili + Sour Cream + $1 - My daughter loves chili, but this was so watered down, it was more like a soup. A spicy soup. And the bread was so soggy by the time she started eating the dish.Since today was Friday, I got the Friday fish fry with curry fries - I do NOT recommend the curry fries, when we left our fingers were all yellow... and it stayed like that for 24 hours. Plus the fish was just okay. We did not even eat the cole slaw after tasting it.Veggie Laksa - I tried to stop my daughter from getting this, as this is NOT an asian restaurant and boy was I right. The curry was so diluted, like pale water. Not sure what kind of noodles they used. And the tofu did not even taste like tofu.Niçoise Salad - My wife liked this, but I thought the tuna was over cooked, see picture. It should just be seared... The veggies were cooked well though.Motto - Pale ale, my favorite of the two beers that I got.Fetch, West Coast IPA - This was light and refreshing.No sours, but the waiter/bartender was nice and brought my daughter a few samples - My daughter tried the Spare Time, Good City Pils and Reward.Atmosphere - Huge cool spot.2 floors, rooftop bar, and dining.Indoor or outdoor dining.Very kid friendly.Free wifi.Free parking in the BACK, do not park on the side. That lot belongs to their neighbor.Private room is also available. They were setting up for a wedding while we were here.Service - 5 stars. The service here was great.Price - $88 + tip.Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2016.

This place is the self-checkout of restaurants. Seat yourself, order everything at the bar. No servers taking your order. No full bar.After finishing our mediocre meals, we sat and had another drink for 30 mins. No one cleared our dirty plates from the table.Rueben - bread was burnt and overly crunchyRachel(Rueben with turkey) - turkey was very dryBacon Burger - burger patty was thin and flavorless compared to all the other stuff on the burger(sauce, bacon, pickles, lettuce, tomato)Double Pattie burger - "it was fine...that's about it"Will not return.

Slow ServiceIts a large space - its about half filled. Took 40 minutes on my salad to arrive.Waitress only checked on me once while waiting, had to ask 2 other waitresses who were passing by about the status of my food. couldn't imagine coming if it was dinner if my lunch took this long.
