Golden Nest Pancake & Cafe

Well worth the wait!I will say we got there on a Saturday morning around 11:00 and the wait was not too bad as we were able to enjoy some drinks over in there bar area I highly recommend their frappe as it is amazing. We had some fun banter with the bartender who made the15 minute wait so tolerable. The service was prompt as we got seated and once we made final decisions our food was ready in no time. I truly enjoyed the stuffed French toast as it was delicious and could be eaten without syrup in my opinion. I also enjoyed some of everyone else's dish which were great values as you can add 2 pancakes to a variety of dishes for only $1 instead of toast which is well worth it. The steak and eggs were extremely filling and a large portion which was nice. Overall, I will definitely be back for more!

Not far from Mayfair Mall, the Golden Nest is part of the "Mayfair Collection" of shops and restaurants. It's a very aesthetically pleading space, with lots of natural light and beautiful fixtures. The menu is pretty extensive, offering both classic breakfast choices and those with a creative spin. Sandwiches and salads are also available, making this a great brunch spot. There are two rooms of seating, offering tables, booths and a bar. The clever twist here, is that there are two "robots" which aid the waitstaff in delivering food to patrons.I ordered a Gingerbread Latte and the Steak Frittata. The latte took a bit to get, and for me needed more sweetness. Still, it was served hot and tasted delicious. The Steak Frittata was amply sized, as were the pieces of steak inside which were flavorful and very tender. The egg base was soft and fluffy, and the avavocado sauce and crema fresca were nicely balanced, making them a wonderful addition to the dish. As a huge fan of hot sauce, I liked that they had more than one choice at the table. I appreciated even more that they weren't the typical brands you tend to see everywhere else.This was my first time at Goden Nest, recommended by my niece. She did not steer me wrong!

Stopped by for breakfast/brunch on a Friday, the food was good but I felt like it overall needed a little more salt. I've been here before and haven't thought that so might just be an off day. Food overall was yummy and my friend especially loved her Salmon Benedict! Especially the Hollandaise sauce!The server was nice, checked in on us, but left us to chat and catchup which we wanted! The overall vibe of the place is a great and we loved the lighting/decor. Very cute!

Seated immediately at 11:30 on a Friday morning. Ordered Cobb salads, CBR wrap, Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries, and vanilla lattes. Service was very good as was the food. A nice little place. Spent about an hour and a half there enjoying a visit with friends. The robot delivery system is entertaining! Will definitely return for a visit.

Came on a Sunday for brunch, large interior with lots of seating and a small bar area. We were given a 15min wait but decided to sit at the bar (~6 seats) immediately. They have a full brunch/breakfast menu with some lunch sandwiches/burgers. A good collection of bloodys which we got the Golden Nest Bloody Mary with a lil extra spicy. Came with a pickle, bacon & beer chaser. Would def drink again! Decided to share a Treasures of the Sea Benedict & a Pancake flight (one of each - cinnamon roll, lemonberry, strawberry cheesecake). The benedicts 'patty' was a blend of different seafood, tasted good, looked weird when I actually peeked under the egg. The pancakes were yummy! I don't have a sweet tooth but I contradictarily love cinnamon rolls so my favorites were cinnamon, lemonberry . then cheesecake but my partner's favorite was the reverse so I would say that means they pass the bar.Parking is in a large lot and if there does ever happen to be a long wait, there's a lot of stores and goodcity brewing nearby!

We arrived around 10 am on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. The restaurant quickly filled up and there seemed to be quite a few people waiting by the time we were done.I was very excited to see gluten free pancakes on the menu, and was very disappointed to receive a stack of completely raw-in-the-middle cakes. I pointed it out to the waitress who promptly put in a replacement order, but by the time that the cooked-through pancakes made it to the table, the rest of the group was done eating. I also was unable to verify if it was just a gluten free mix, or if there is also a dedicated gluten free griddle for my fellow celiacs.On a positive note, the bacon was extra crispy and delicious.

I went for brunch recently with a friend. The atmosphere is very nice- great colors, lighting, etc. good coffee, and I ordered a breakfast poutine that I really enjoyed. Service was good, we didn't feel rushed as we spent some time after we ate, chatting. Definitely will be back!

Nice addition to the Mayfair Collection and to the area. We came in right in the morning on Christmas Eve after picking up a couple last minute items from the store and didn't have an issue being sat right away.I ordered the Golden Nest Bloody Mary and was pleased by their house mix (though personally still needed to add a couple dashes of the habanero hot sauce that was on the table to get it to my liking), and was very pleased that the beer back was Spotted Cow. My entree of choice was the Treasure of the Sea Benedict, which was very good. The hollandaise was spot on, and there was a good amount of the seafood blend on top. I chose the breakfast potatoes for my side and was happy with those.The servers were very friendly and dressed festively. This is the first place I've been to that has robot servers as well, and it was fun to watch them drive around. Having been a server myself, I wonder how I would feel having to navigate around these guys, especially during a rush. As a patron though, it's like dinner and a show!Since this place is close to my dad's house, I certainly see us coming back.

I was treated to brunch here on Saturday, 12-16-23. I ordered the Denver omelette with breakfast potatoes and French toast. I also ordered the fresh pressed pineapple & ginger juice. (I'm missing an ingredient.)Our server was pleasant and attentive without hovering. When our food was brought to the table, it was hot but not too hot that we couldn't enjoy right away. Because of our catching up, I wasn't able to finish the French toast before they closed but everything was delicious. I had plenty potatoes leftover to enjoy at the airport. We even had a little entertainment with a male waiter being a robot. Lol Would definitely return when in the area.

Lady taking names on the list was kindnof rude. Food was good server really didnt check back a lot if we needed anything they added an 18%gratuity for party of 5 and i ordered side of potatoes and never got them
