Yay! I don't know why it has been so difficult to find great Chinese food since we moved to Wisconsin, but if you look hard enough those restaurants are there.Just this past week, we moved to Marshall and, as if you'd ever moved before you can attest, we were starving and we didn't want to unpack boxes to find pots and pans. What does everyone do? They find a restaurant!Being brand new to an area is pretty tough. Thank goodness for Yelp. We were going to drive into Sun Prairie where we could find a chain we recognized and just as we hit Hwy 19, we saw Golden Dragon and pulled over. A quick Yelp search showed great ratings. We decided to risk it.The decor inside is nothing special. There is a counter, and a few tables and booths that looked like they were from the 1980s. No worries, we aren't here for the ambiance. The menu has just about anything you desire. They even have a statement on the bottom that says if you don't see what you want, ask and they'll make it. How awesome is that?Being gluten free, Chinese food can be a bit of a challenge. If it isn't wheat breading then it is wheat in the sauce. However, there are staples you know you can find. In my case, Beef Mai Fun, which is a rice noodle dish cooked in oil, is always a great choice. My wife chose steamed chicken and vegetables with garlic sauce. The portions are huge and everything looked super fresh. More important than that, it tasted fantastic! Juicy, tender beef (or in my wife's case, chicken), fresh vegetables, and while cooked in oil, definitely not oily. The prices are what you would expect for a strip-mall-mostly-take-out-Chinese-joint.My wife and I are so thrilled we found this gem, and that it is right in our brand new hometown.Cheers!

My husband and I were on our way to Johnson Creek, so we thought to stop here. We tried the potstickers(fried), crab rangoon, and I had the shrimp egg foo young and my husband had the sweet and sour chicken. The pot stickers had far too much dough but the meat was ok, the crab rangoon was more dough than stuffing and the egg foo young was not something I was familiar with, at least theirs. It was all egg and onion, no sprouts. The sauce was on the sweet side, I just couldn't eat much of it. The sweet and sour chicken was just breaded chicken and sauce, my husband prefers to have veges and pineapple cooked with it. It was ok, but just didn't settle well with us. The price was great!

Based on some excellent online reservations we stopped in to this restaurant with a party of eight. The restaurant owners children were waiting on our table and weren't up to it. When some hors d'oeuvres were ordered for our grandkids main course it took three tries to get some dishes so the kids could eat from a plate instead of a Napkin. The child who was doing the serving seemed baffled by this. Food quality is low. Two combination dinners my wife and I had were not up to even normal par. They were advertised as lobster containing but they were out of lobster. We were looking for a place to go after a day at the local amusement park and this will never be our choice again.

Was just there today first time for lunch carry out. Indeed a simple and not super inviting place, but I'll be back to eat in sometime. They're super nice and happy people, all seemed to be family. The teen taking my order was very helpful with my request to try something new and I asked for something traditional Chinese and not Americanized. As other reviewers say, it's decor is pretty plain and uninviting but they're super nice. Per their suggestion I got homestyle tofu and veggies and Singapore mei fun (they suggested any of the mei fun as traditional). Also got steamed dumplings (I ate 2 today and want to fry the other 4 later tonight), and a spring roll. The veggies in tofu dish were perfect al dente and the mei fun which they have labeled spicy was super flavorful with spices but medium hot at most which is perfect for me. The Singapore Mei fun and dumpling filling both had delicious prominent flavor I think might have been star anise.

In 5 years only had take-out from here twice; nothing special about the food and the place could use some cleaning/ brightening up...not enough light, not very inviting. But, if you're starved for Chinese food...drive a little farther to a better place. Just sayin'.

I usually order online and then go grab it on my way home. It usually says it will take like 30 minutes to be ready. It's usually ready in 10 to 15 tops. Everything always tastes great and I will keep spending my money here as long as it does. Customer service is good as well.

Tried this place a couple times now and it's probably the best Chinese food takeout we've found in the area. Generous portions, there's always leftovers for lunch the next day. Tried the sesame chicken and the first time it was great, the second time the chicken was really tough. Will definitely be giving this place another chance.
