Golden Chicken

Great chicken dinner: I think it is broad red, not fried because it was not as greasy. Ready in only 25 minutes (we ordered 24 pieces for a party that day!)Their pizza is also good if you like ultra thin crust, which isn't my favorite but it is perfect for my hubby and daughter.

After looking at how expensive KFC has become over the years like an 8 piece with sides is about $35 with tax and the 4 piece taste with sides is around $22 I decided to try this place. The four piece with frys, coleslaw and a dinner roll is $10 bucks flat. The place was very busy on a Friday evening with non stop phones and that means one of two things, the chicken is really good or the prices are very appealing. The place is very outdated and dumpy looking.I ordered the 4 piece dinner to go because it's carry out only and my order was ready in about 5 minutes so it's not cooked to order. For $10 flat it looked pretty good and very reasonable for a dinner now days. The roll was an average commercial dinner white bread lump. The coleslaw was a commercial average fine diced creamy style. The frys were the average frozen crinkle lightly seasoned. The chicken was not the greasy fried style but more of a beer battered fish style seasoned mildly. The children was not moist and juicy like some places but more dry like it was made in advance and sitting around like the food fried chicken that was made a couple hours earlier Walmart style. I ate it a couple hours after I picked it up and to be fair but it was still crunchy and not greasy at all like left over fried chicken. Would I get it again, probably because it's equivalent to the ready made food store fried chicken that I occasionally pick up except with sides.

Because of they refused to serve me. They are so very rude to me long time ago. I will never call them forever!!!

Was nice to stop in quick for a to-go order! No seating inside but ordering at the counter was easy and food was made and packaged quickly. Ordered the fish sandwich and fries for FOUR DOLLARS - Great deal for what I received. Typical fish sandwich, but it hit the spot. I'm looking forward to ordering the chicken next time. The employee (possibly the owner) was super kind and patient as we ordered. Definitely will stop by and encourage others to check this place out for a quick and easy lunch or dinner!

The best thing about GC is that you don't have to wait untl Fridays, you can get a bucket of fish every day. we have to do pick up because we are out of their delivery area.We also tried the breaded pork chops for something different. %he only downfall is they don't open until 4 pm. an 11 or even a2o'clock opening would be nice

This was a delivery person working for Golden Chicken West Allis 89th Greenfield Ave! She dug in her butt and threw a wet urine & poop stained napkin on my porch table!! PLEASE GO SEE THE VIDEO OF THIS ON FACEBOOK!!!I contacted the owner and have not heard back or received ANY REFUND for the food we threw out, my son was disgusted by the video!!!! POOR MANAGEMENT , no concern for his customers!!

My stars are based on Service not food Quality- their food has always been awesome. I placed my order at 5:42PM 2/1/25 ($30 for delivery). I called to check on my order at 710PM as I felt that I should have had my food delivered by then. The person that answered the phone told me that my order would be there shortly and apologized stating they got slammed. It happens. I clarified I was checking because sometimes my address 6928 gets confused with a house east of me 6828 and I was hungry. He said (was my first solid clue) it's an easy enough mistake to make. So I patiently waited for my delivery. 10 minutes later I get a call from a different person at GC stating there was a mix up with my order and it was mis delivered.....really, I was lied to? It took another 30 minutes to get my delivery. No discount, refund only Sorry there was a mix up. Stuff happens, but don't lie to me, your customer, if you expect me to continue patronizing your establishment.

Been going to this place for years still spot on with the chicken and pizza. Beats any mass produced restaurant in the business. (Dominoes kfc etc) stills stands the test of time love this place

Almost 3 hours later received food after calling to see when they would arrive told them how long I was waiting and told rudely I couldn't have been waiting that long.then the food was so bad rubber old fish and chicken so tuff I couldn't chew through it .everything rancid old and tuff.i had to throw it all out. Worst food experience and staff on phone experience. Never again.ps this is coming from someone who loved this restaurant a couple years ago. Very sad.
