Ordered some dinner tonight call the order. I was told to order will be ready in 20 minutes I got there in 10 minutes waited the extra additional 10 minutes outside of the restaurant,when I came in the order was already ready under the counter. upon coming home realized that the chicken and fries were not hot so I obviously got some old food although I just ordered the four piece chicken dinner... in the past I have walked in and ordered and my food has been hot and fresh so I am disappointed the money I spent is not worth the quality/freshness of the food that that I received. Moral of the story don't call in orders to the Golden Chicken on Villard walk in and make your order otherwise you're going to get old food

I don't know but if it's just me- I don't do business with ppl if you're being a smart ass with my food order. I call this place and already the gentleman giving me a hard time- bcuz it's noisy on his side that he couldn't hear me- so he said- that I did give him the right number- oh really- then what number did I give you- he wouldn't repeat it- but it wasn't the number on his caller ID box- so wtf did you ask me my number for- like who does that- so that's why I put my bell on his ass. The customer service was horrible!!!! The menu said battered cod and I received gigantic dried out fish sticks !!! When I took it back the said NO REFUNDS I then asked for a replacement and the owner said I couldn't get one !!! I said so what am I supposed to do with this dinner .. he said deal with it we been making that dinner for over 30 years I'm not giving you anything..this place was very disappointing and I should have read the ratings first... never again

This was my 3rd try with Golden chicken on 68th and Villard. The girl that takes orders over the phone always gets the order wrong. They told me my food would be ready in 20 mins, but since the order was wrong I had to wait 45 minutes. I know the food is being fried in high temperatures but I would still love to see food being handled with gloves especially after handling money. When I finally got my order I had a heap of fries which 90 percent were burned. I sifted through them and only 10 of them were not burned. I was told the prices have gone up, but sad to say service has gone down. Won't being going back anytime soon:(

Yes, I am very disappointed with Golden Chicken. I had a family event at 53rd Street School for students and their families. This was a catered event in which I chose Golden Chicken to provide services. I ordered $200 worth of food from them. This consisted 150 pieces of chicken, large pan of mash potatoes, small pan of cole slaw and dinner rolls. The delivery driver was very nice and on time and the food was hot. However, upon serving the chicken, the servers and I found that some of the chicken that I received were mixed with party wings and other pieces were hard and dry. In addition, I received two small pans of mashed potatoes rather that the normal large pan when serving 100 people. This took place on a Friday. On Monday, I phoned Golden Chicken and asked to speak with the manager/ owner who had taken my order to state the issue and my dissatisfaction with the services that I received. As I attempted to explain, the owner/manager was very irate and rude basically calling me a lie. He stated that they don't sell party wings at Golden Chicken and offered me to come in and check all of their chicken. I continued to state that what ever the case may be, I had a school event in which food could only be catered and I chose them. I explained that I often ate from them and that's why I chose them for the event. To make a long story short, instead of apologizing or offering to fix the situation the owner/ manager was disrespectful. It could have been a mistake on the staff behalf, but no the owner/manager stood firm that there were no error. The conversation ended with my hanging up on him and now writing this review. I am also attempting to see if there is a corporate location where I can further discuss my satisfaction. But, until then, I advised everyone to avoid having food catered from Golden Chicken located on 6808 W. Villard in Milwaukee. See, basically they got over on me because of the amount of chicken that I purchased. They didn't think anyone would notice based on the size of the order. No, I will no longer do business with them and for that reason I give the lowest rating possible.

I ordered cheese pizza and a bucket of chicken for delivery. The chicken and fries were barely lukewarm. I turned to the pizza. It was cold. During my first call, I told the woman who answered about the problem. Her response was, "the chicken was hot when we made it". I again advised her that some parts were cold, others barely warm. She again told me "it was hot when we made it". It just didn't make sense to me. She seemed so nasty and sarcastic. I asked her if she agreed that the food was cold upon delivery, she responded that she could "understand that". I then asked why this was not their responsibility and she again replied, "it was hot when the cook made it" and "there is nothing I can do about it". I disagreed telling her she had at least three options, 1. Replace the food with hot food, 2. Refund my purchase or 3. Improve her attitude. She then stated she would do "none of the above" and hung up on me. I was unsure what to do. "It was hot when we cooked it" just seemed a suspicious response for a restaurant to make. Hungry and frustrated, we went decided to microwave the pizza. That's when we saw the hair in the pizza. I called the restaurant again and spoke with a man who stated he was the manager. He knew about the problem from the women I spoke with earlier. He said the chicken was hot out of the fryer and they were not responsible for whatever else happened after that. I threatened that if they didn't to make this right I would contact the bank and dispute the charges. He then told me "if you do that, you can't order here again". That was it. As I took pictures of the food to share on social media, I saw the chicken was old. It was saturated in oil and had a red fingerprint on it.

I ordered food from this establishment. I have been ordering food from this place for at least 7 years. New employee - screwed up order. New employee - poor customer service. The girl taking my order got my order wrong. I called the store right away hoping they could call their driver to see if the rest of my order was in his car. The girl that answered the phone began to argue with me about what I ordered. I was told that I would have to pay extra if I wanted it and an additional delivery charge. I asked to speak to the owner but he was not in so I got the manager on duty. He told me that because the girl got my order wrong I would have to pay extra if I wanted the rest of my order. Then I told them they could come and get there food back and just give me a refund. If there wasn't so much snow and ice on the ground I would have got in my wheelchair and taken it back myself. The manager told me that they don't give refunds. I told him I didn't see the no return policy written anywhere on the menu. He said well it's not it's written on our door. I asked him if he could take it off its hinges and bring it by me so I could see it. They have terrible customer service skills and poor attitudes when trying to communicate with people that have no way of knowing about company policies that are printed on their doors where they run a carry out and delivery service.I finally told the manager to have the owner call me.Ten minutes later the driver showed up with the rest of my order. We told him we have been good customers for over 7 years and we would not be ordering from them again. Through the years the drivers have been the best there is. We will miss them and the good service we used to get.
