Gloria's Cakes

I have ordered several cakes from here for numerous occasions, some with very little advanced notice. I have always appreciated the ease of booking with Gloria and the quality of her cakes. They're always delicious and beautiful. She literally makes your vision come to life in an incredible way!I've always had a pleasant experience working with Gloria. She has always been thoughtful and accommodating, and because we had a fondant cake that we weren't due to eat immediately, she was sure to give us well articulated instructions to follow to ensure the cake would look it's best when we ate. I'd highly recommend Gloria's business to anybody in need of a cake to make a day a little extra special.

I used Gloria's Cakes for my wedding on May 18th 2024. Gloria did not offer us delivery at any point. We were told to pick up the cake at 12:00pm, our wedding began at 3:00pm. A family member picked up the cake at 12:00pm, an hour later they noticed the cake was leaning. They were told to "nudge it". By the time we were at the venue, and starting food, the entire bottom of the cake was melting and crumbling, the top layers fondant falling apart, it couldn't be photographed, couldn't be cut, couldn't be served. We completely left out the cake portion of this wedding, what was served was piles on a plate. No announcement of cake. Nothing. Embarrassing and devastating. I left a review for Gloria on Google. An honest one. Gloria didn't like the review and took to Facebook on her business page with my husband's full name, his cash app information, and access to his and my social media pages. I had to file a police report. I sent multiple cease and desist letters out. And the next step will be a lawsuit for doxing a customer on a business page, and harassment for having customers "friends and family" come after someone who left a review you didn't like. You cannot run business like that. Buyer BEWARE.
