Gino’s Pizza

I'm not in Hartford all that often around meal time, so when I had an opportunity to use a discount coupon that I purchased for Gino's Pizza, I made sure to do so. Our order consisted of two 16" pizzas, one with just cheese and the other half pepperoni, half sausage. The pizzas tasted fine. Neither remarkable or unremarkable. They use a ton of cheese, which I appreciate, though as you can see in the pictures I posted, the sausage and pepperoni may have been a tad skimped on. The crust was cracker like and the outer edges of it got nice and crispy, which is a big plus for me.As you can also see in the pictures, the pizzas were sloppy. The half pepperoni, half sausage ended up having sausage on only a 1/4 of it and the pepperoni was only on the outsides. In addition, the cheese on both pizzas stuck to the crappy paper they used below the crust, leaving paper stuck to the cheese on every piece we took out of the boxes. The meat was easy to adjust by sliding it around, but the paper was annoying and not worth the hassle again.

I was so happy when I heard that Gino's was coming where Poads left off. I just ordered a pizza and it was awesome! They kept the original recipe! The sausage was even better than before if that's possible! They have some bugs to work out ordering and efficiency wise but good pizza in Hartford is back!!
