Gibbsville Cheese Co

This is a small cheese shop connected to the dairy that makes the cheese, so you know it's fresh. I stopped in for some cheese curds. I wound up buying 3 blocks of cheese, some cheese dip, a meat stick, and the cheese curds. There are several different specialty cheeses. One that was particularly interesting was the mystery cheese. This is a combination of whatever cheese was left in the vat before changeover and the new cheese that went into the vat after changeover. I got a block of a white and orange mix. This shop will become a regular stop when in the Sheboygan area.

This is a cute little cheese shop connected to the factory that makes the cheese, so you can be assured the cheese is fresh. They have a wide variety of cheese, spreads, and trinkets. Their prices are inexpensive compared to other cheese shops, so we stocked up! When we finally sliced into the first block, the cheese was fresh and yummy! The curds were squeaky, and any true Wisconsinite knows that means they are fresh!!We are glad we stumbled across this place . The next time we are in the area, we will definitely swing by to stock up!

My mom is a local to the area, so we always come here for our cheese. The prices are so fair, the selection is great, and the options are endless! I love the mystery cheese. It is the end of one cheese in the beginning of another, but in one package. You never know what you're going to get, but what you do know is that it's going to be delicious! Most of the cheese is in 1 pound portions, but make sure you don't miss the cheese that is behind the cash register. I ordered some blue cheese in my own custom size. They have some fun shirts, crackers, and other cheese-adjacent things. Be sure to support local dairy farms by visiting this shop! It's worth the trip.

Being from NC We always try to stock up on cheese when we are in WI visiting family. This place has a great selection of cheeses and their prices are very reasonable. Staff are very friends, Highly recommend this place.

For sure a hidden WI gem! We have been here numerous times and have never been disappointed in the cheese or the staff. Always seem to have a wonderful conversation and the cheese is creamy and delicious. We LOVE this place!

A nice drive into the Wisconsin countryside not to far from Sheboygan Falls, brought us to the Gibbsville Cheese Factory. They could not have been nicer! There were numerous types of cheeses to buy already prepackaged or in bulk and by the pound. Samples were available for almost all of the different cheeses. There was also a small gift area with cheese hats, t shirts and coffee mugs.They also sell 1 pound tubs of Pine River cold pack cheese...great for parties or as a snack.Look at our second picture at their "Mystery Cheese". This is the type of cheese left over from an old batch and the top of the new batch. When it is combined it may well be two different types of cheeses. Notice how the left side looks like cheddar, and the right like a marbled cheddar. It is kooky looking, but it is still great cheese, priced to sell.The staff is friendly, works hard making great cheeses, and makes the ride into the scenic Wisconsin countryside well worth the trip!

I walked in looking for fresh cheese curds and came out a cheese curd enthusiast.The person that helped me sample different cheeses and explained the process for making cheese has taught me what service should be.Fresh cheese curds squeak while you chew on them and some of the flavors that they have are fantastic. I would highly recommend stopping by and picking up the Cajun cheese curds!

Just an old-fashion cheese store. They have a nice selection of local cheeses and spreads. Great prices.

We drove out of the way to get some Wisconsin cheese. The service was helpful and friendly. They even gave us a couple of samples.
