The American breakfast just under $10 before the coupon was average with better Milwaukee area places doing a offering.

The coupon got me in but at full price you can do better around Milwaukee.

The poor sourdough toast was nicely toasted but not that great artesian bread that did its job.

A Milwaukee must since 1948! Get the Double Webb with fried onions. You won't believe a cheap burger can be that flavorful!

I come here often with my friends and I have to say that what keeps us coming back is Truman. He's very personable and genuinely makes every visit amazing! He goes out of his way to make us exactly what we want, and always does it with a smile on his face! Give this man a raise!

George Webb is like the Midwestern answer to a Waffle House, but you know...a lot cleaner! Standard diner food. Good breakfast food. I'm sure the non-breakfast stuff is good too. Comfortable booth, friendly server. All good!I dock them one star for their prices. For a 24 hour greasy spoon diner restaurant, many of their breakfasts and sandwiches are in the $8 - $11 range. In my honest opinion, nothing at George Webb should go beyond $8.

I sat there at the front counter for about 20 minutes one Saturday night waiting to be served. Yes, it was a busy night. I had to leave since they were a mess...seemed understaffed. Never again!

I was throwing away a sales receipt and noticed a $5.99 American breakfast coupon and thought I don't eat at Webb's so let's give it a try. The place was clean and nice looking with an old school diner vibe with the low lunch counter that had the little round stools and booths around the walls. The coupon was for 2 eggs, hash browns, toast and meat.I opted for sausage patties and sourdough toast with the eggs and hash browns. My eggs were perfect sunny side up, the sourdough toast was the poor quality that was white for all I know but toasted nicely. The hash browns had a hard/chewy texture which I didn't care for. The sausage patties were tasty/juicy to my surprise and not cooked to dry.My service was ok with my server never stopping over after I got my breakfast to see if everything was ok or if I needed anything and stapling my coupon to the bill for $9.45, she never applied my coupon. Overall the breakfast was average and not one of those great breakfast spots but I can see it's appeal as a local breakfast spot. I can't say that I will be back to a Webb when Milwaukee has much better $10 breakfast spots.

This location is old school compared to some of the other locations that I've been to. This location still uses an old cash register and order pads compared to an iPad ordering system Is location is quieter than most locations until you get the one guy who's talking super loud on a cell phone

Call me crazy, but I love George Webb's (and their eternal prediction that the Milwaukee Brewers will win twelve games in a row). For a cheap burger that's awesome there's nothing better than a Double Webb with fried onions. The breakfasts are great, too. I love getting the corn beef hash with eggs and toast. Classic simple American food. They are located all over Southeastern Wisconsin and even the nicest ones are divey. It's not a place for a hot date, but it's a great way to soak up the local flavor. If you enjoy a "greasy spoon," George Webb's is Milwaukee's finest!

We stopped here last Thursday (July 24th) for breakfast with our two young boys. At first we were seated by this huge gigantic guy who must have been almost 7 feet tall, at first I thought "Wow, I feel sorry for anyone who messes with this guy" but it turns out he was super friendly, extremely professional and polite, heck, maybe he was the manager, if not, he should be promoted to one. However, soon afterwards we were greeted by another server who was training a young lady.As someone who has worked in this industry for an extremely long time, I have certain expectations. I usually point this out in my reviews when visiting a restaurant. This trainer seemed unhappy, maybe she was having a rough day, or maybe she is just sick and tired of being a server, or did not want to train a trainee this particular day, who knows? If she is, she needs a career change and to do something else that makes her happy. Moving forward, she took our order, brought it to the table and did not return back until she dropped off the check and we were done eating, at this moment she decided to ask us if everything was okay with our food. This should be asked a few minutes after a customer has received their meal, not after they have already eaten.I really wish the first gentleman was our server. He was very attentive. If I would have left it up to my wife, she probably would have not tipped this lady anything and most people I know probably would do the same in this situation, now that I think of it, she did not even bring us enough eating utensils, we had to keep asking for them and she is even a veteran server. However, I still left her 20+ %, hopefully that put her in a better mood and at least the next customer received better service. We only eat at this location once a year, with any luck, I hope she is not there next time, or we will simply just leave and eat at our usual place, the Pancake House in Brookfield. To be fair, instead of giving this place one star based off our server. I will give two stars, because of the first gentleman who greeted us right away and dropped off waters. Had he been our server, I am certain my review would be 4 or 5 stars based off his attention to detail, professionalism and good demeanour.[Review #180]

Stopped in during a road trip to grab a quick lunch. We were not familiar with the chain at all. In fact, was hoping it was not a chain. Upon entry, cozy diner type setup. After perusing the menu, if you like Waffle House, you will like George Webb. Same basic deal. The only interesting note about this meal was the fact that the bread that was served with our fish and chips were both butt slices. lol

Ridiculous level of mismanagement. Finicky fryer goes out and can't be relit!......wholly! Half of what's on their menu is no longer available. Staff could use a lesson in manners. Food we did get was good. A real disappointment! Webbs used to be good!
