Garden Prairie Farm

Garden Prairie Farms is once of the best gardens in the madison area. They have wonderful customer service with very knowledgeable workers. I wasn't sure about the flowers I wanted or how to take care of them properly, and their workers were kind and helpful in teaching me the right things to do. Their flower baskets are gorgeous and full of great flowers. The pricing is great and reasonable. I want to come back every season to see what they have to offer.

I honestly love this place. Everyone who works here is super nice! The plants look amazing, the farm is adorable... I have started a plant addiction because of this place!I wish this place was a little bigger. As of May they have plants to purchase. I would love it if they had their own farmers market and sold veggies etc. I'm not sure if they do that in the growing months or not.My biggest reason why I love this place is the cost. It's so cheap to buy plants and arrangements here. Herbs are $1-$3 and large arrangements are $30-$50. You really can't beat the price here. They also sold me some plastic pots, which they don't really do. But I so appreciated them selling me a few pots so I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg somewhere else.

My wife and I "drove past," stopped, turned around and were greeted by the most amazing hanging baskets and floral displays we'd ever seen. I believe "stunning" was the word she used to describe the baskets. We selected three and one of the owners, Dan, assisted us in getting them all situated in our small Honda. That's not the end of the story though. A few weeks later, the wire hook on one of the baskets let go causing the entire arrangement to crash to the ground. We happened to be in the Sun Prairie area and stopped to see if they might be able to sell us just an empty basket so we could move the fallen contents to a new hanging home. GPF's was closed for the season but as we continued down the road, I noticed someone tending to some of the remaining flowers... so I pulled over, crossed the road on foot and explained to the young man my dilemma. He went looking for a new basket and coming back empty handed said, "I spoke with Dan and he said just take your pick of an new arrangement." Now that's customer service! It might be a 40 mile drive from Juneau but you can bet your bottom dollar we're going to be returning to Garden Prairie Farm for years to come.
