Gabe's is our favorite place in Oshkosh for takeout- especially on Friday nights for their fish fry when we are fried from the week!! My picky eater always wins with the Jordy burger. Strongly recommend their old fashioned and flavored mojitos too!

We had high expectations for this place looking at the menu but we were honestly disappointed.. My fiancé and I wanted to go out somewhere nice together for Valentine's Day and we've never been here before so we thought we would try. The place looks nice and clean and the workers all seemed nice but the food was lacking.. My partner wanted the pot Roast but the cook said they were out of this option so he chose the brisket stroganoff and I had the beer can chicken Mac n cheese.. both our dishes were very bland and dry and it lacked sauce. Both dishes were also almost room temp.. My partner's brisket was very dry and chewy. We also ordered cheese curds and they were clumped together and very greasy.. I enjoyed my strawberry Lemonade though.. When you pay over $20 a plate the food should be flavorful and at the very least warm and freshly made.

Tried this place as it's close to the Holiday Inn and we weren't disappointed. Our server Garrett had recently returned to Oshkosh and was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, he was attentive and did a nice job. Casual ambience and we were able to sit where we could see our vehicle where the dogs were waiting for us. Ceilings are a bit high, but it wasn't impossible to hear . Food was good and creative. There were many food options on the menu and there's also a full bar for drinks if you want them. Would go back again.

This was my first time trying fresh water fish and I highly recommend this place on Fridays to try it, they have a really good selection and specials. Service was very friendly and super fast. Ambience was good and appropriate to go with friends and family.

Good spot! Only complain was that the cheese curds were so so so salty. We loved the actual entrees, though! Got the beer can Mac and cheese and the southwest salad + beer can chicken. The chicken is so good! Service was quick and restaurant is super clean. I'd like toCome back for a fish fry at some point.

This place was an absolute rip off. I got a southwestern salad with the beer can shredded chicken on it ($18!) and there was one one tablespoon each of black beans, pico, and guacamole. Zero substance at all and to top it off the lettuce was wilted and had black spots. The chicken was also dry as hell. My husband got the Father's Day special brisket which was so dry he had to add ketchup to it, we ordered it medium rare and it was gray as hell, they obviously scorched it on a griddle before serving. The service was slow and no one even checked on us after the food arrived.We were just traveling through and will tell our local friends to avoid. My meal was so underwhelming and unsubstantial I actually left hungry and furious (obviously). I cannot even recall the last time I have been to a restaurant that was such an epic disappointment. I feel absolutely ripped off.

Excellent menu variety and great food. Even though they were busy, service was quick. Will definitely come back again and again - my new 'go to' in Oshkosh1

We had such high hopes for this place! The menu looked fantastic online, but we were disappointed. We ordered the cheese curds and pork belly bite appetizers - the cheese curds were under done and greasy. The pork belly bites were barely warm (actually cold on the inside). I originally wanted to get the apple pie pork loin, but they didn't have that, so I went with the pork belly pasta. There was no flavor to the pork belly at all, and it tasted like it had been cooked yesterday. My husband got the prime rib, ordered medium. Not tender, flavorless. the broccoli and potatoes were still crunchy. Tried the cheesecake at the end - there were still chunks of cream cheese in it. I am by no means a food snob, but I could have cooked better at my house.

Staff (Katlyn) was very friendly and attentive. Food was okay, not the quality we expected for the price. Husband had cod, and he said it was soggy. My steak was tender and delicious. The French onion soup came out half bowl and luke warm, disappointing. But overall we were happy we went to try it.

So glad I made it here on a visit to Oshkosh. A nice local place where people care about the food.Satisfying and affordable all-you-can-eat soup-and-salad option at lunch. Toward the end of the lunch period, it's understandable that some items on the salad bar were a little low, but everything looked good. There were plenty of options. Everything was neat and clean. Wonderful and addictive creamy potato soup.Everybody I encountered working there was courteous, welcoming. I was glad I was talked into the cheesecake, too. Huge serving.
