Good old Friar Tucks. Has been around for a long time, and always comes through with good service, good food and an excellent 2 for 1 Happy Hour! Large menu with plenty to choose from. Something for everyone, as long as you are in the mood for a sandwich or a fish fry. They have a lot of sides available and at least a couple of soups every day. All good!

My wife and I came here for lunch. This place has rustic decor. It is not brightly lit making for an intimate ambiance. We were seated immediately despite being nearly full. Our waitress was prompt and brought our drinks before we were ready to order. We decided to split the Submarine sandwich and get side orders of French fries and chili. The Submarine sandwich consists of a combination of ham, turkey, salami, and cheese on French bread. Served with tomatoes and our special dressing (Served hot or cold). The dressing is an Italian vinaigrette. It also comes with a sour cream and dill spread. This sandwich is perfect to share or for 2 meals. The sandwich is of good quality. It is heaped with meat and cheese, topped with fresh lettuce and tomato.The fries were lightly seasoned and deep fried to a crispy texture. The chili was good and hearty. It was flavorful but not spicy. This chili is unique as they add macaroni to it. It was topped with shredded cheese and came with Texas toast.This will be my new go-to sandwich shop.

Honestly? I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Never. We always eat at the bar. All bartenders over the past 8 years, (since we first came here) have been perfect in every way! Burgers are juicy, fries and sides are crispy , and I love the French onion soup. They also include small amounts of raw veggies to snack on. Happy hour is great too! One more thing, desserts! Love that they offer desserts!

Amazing ambiance, waitstaff, food, and prices. It is a step back in time! My new favorite restaurant!

Cute little place. Typical bar fare but the servers are dressed out of Robin Hood with frocks on. Place was quiet so we got our food quickly. By the time we left, the parking lot was full. The onion rings and chicken wings were good. The wings aren't sauced buy you can get one on the side to dip. The creamy buffalo was good and not too spicy (if at all).Drinks were well poured. Happy we stopped by!

The food is always excellent as well as the service. I have a favorite sandwich that isn't on the menu, but they always make it perfectly and with a smile. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The description says that it is a sandwich and cocktails place- and it is. Lots of deep fried apps as well. Attentive service, dark windowless decor. I went in looking for an entree and a beer. No entrees, short beer list. So I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar, a cup of chili, and a Spotted Cow. Salad was good. The chili was true Wisconsin style- mild, hamburger with kidney beans, and elbow macaroni. Don't complain if you are disappointed. Wisconsinites are fierce about their "chili Mac".

Yes, I would recommend friar Tucks. We stopped there after seven in the evening, and shared one of those delicious hamburger sandwiches. They split it for us on two separate plates, and it was wonderful. The waitress was helpful with suggestions, and did her job admirably, as we could see her moving around with other customers. We had a craft beer (for him) and a Rum & Coke (for her) and both were great. We did plan our visit after the happy hour, because they are less busy and we aren't heavy drinkers. We will be going there again.

Great food, great service, Love the place.I had the prime rib sandwich. Delicious. The sweet potato fires are very good.

Food and service are great. What's not so great is they do not have soda and other drink prices listed on their menu. So you order your meal and a cola, not knowing the glass of mostly ice, is costing you about $3.00. WOW!! No more soda for me.
