Fresh Madison Market

I had the pleasure of using Fresh Madison Market for my catering needs at my wedding this May. I cannot begin to express how wonderful everything was. They were honest and upfront about pricing, they provided everything that I could have imagined, the food was some of the best wedding food I had ever tasted and they were considerably less expensive then the other 2 caterers I had to choose from. They provided the cake, cupcakes, and food for my 130 person wedding. They were easy to work with, quick to respond, never made me feel like a burden when I would ask questions. The team is great! Save yourself some hassle, money, and time. Don't overlook this grocery store when looking for your next caterer

We were in Madison for a few days on business and stopped in the market a couple of times. Their hot bar was really good, and I just can't stop thinking about their yummy macaroni salad, so much so that I will be trying to recreate it at home really soon. I took a picture of the label just in case I forgot all off the goodness in it - perfectly cooked pasta, shreds of good cheese, celery, green pepper, scallions, and apparently some cream along with the mayo. I think I will give it a shot this weekend - hopefully it will be just as yummy.

Came with my daughter because she wanted fresh salad bar. The quality of the lettuce was sketch but when I asked if they would refresh the lettuce a manager brought her out a brand new catch right away. Lots of great topping options. Only complaint was the price. $25 for two salads is a bit nuts. I know it's centrally located for the campus and wasn't expecting it to be cheap or anything that just seems like allot of salad.

Based on the reviews, I didn't expect to find much at this store, but I was pleasantly surprised! I loved that there are so many organic and natural options without additives, preservatives, or synthetics which is what I was looking for. Compared to other stores in Madison, I felt like the prices were at the lower end which again was a nice surprise. I also really appreciated that a lot of their products are sourced locally and that they prepare a lot of fresh meats and baked goods in house. For the most part the staff was friendly and answered any questions that I had. Overall, I thought it was a cute little market and I plan to shop again.

Has everything you need and is in a convenient location. There are some good deals, but most are just a dollar or two off.The set up of the registers is what frustrates me. They are placed in such way which makes it confusing to pick a line and tough to tell which are open or not. It can get really crowded close to dinner and the masses of confused people complicate things further.I also have not had great experience with their fresh produce and vegetables which are pretty expensive and not always "fresh".

Extremely terrible fruit quality. Poor customer service. Trust me that no one cares your safety. If you have the similar experience, please directly call Wisconsin health department or other related government department.

I really only shop here because of convenience. The store itself is bright and clean, but it is a fairly small grocery store and because of that, there are certain products and brands that they do not have in stock. The items they do have are often overpriced. You really have to plan ahead and shop the weekly deals. If you don't, you have to pay the price... literally.The staff is hit or miss. A friendly manager helped me find something once which was a great experience, but the cashiers are often unfriendly or just seem like they don't want to be there. One cashier was even dropping the f-bomb as I waited for her to check me out.After I move out of my current apartment a few blocks away, I probably won't be frequenting this grocery store as often as I do now.

This remarkable store features food from around the planet. It's where the old Whole Foods used to be. Owned and managed locally by a friendly Turkish family. They have 3 locations. I could go on and on- take my word. Try it, you'll love it.

Needed to order food, mainly packaged items, for elderly relative. Never used the store delivery service before. Went on their site and made the order and items were pulled and delivered to my relative same day. I was very pleased with the experience. Haven't been to Madison in many years, next time I'm there hope to go in person. I plan to start patronizing smaller grocers.
