Frannie's Market

What a cute spot in cedarburg! All the fun hostess gifts you can imagine. Plus cheese in the back (definitely need to try out the big moo if you haven't!). And on the weekends they have Matilda's bakery, we got an almond croissant today that was to die for. So good!

Riding a wave of trends, Sarah and her market are offering substantial and gimmicky things to wow your guests at table or around a charcuterie board. Many who want to follow this trend may find everything they want and more here. If one already knows what he/she is going to lay out on the "board," you can get the meats and cheese much cheaper at your local grocery store. But Sarah is hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable and can even cater an event for you. The market is a fine contribution to Cedarburg's long avenue of shops.

We got a graze table and sandwiches from Frannie's for our micro wedding reception and it was a huge hit! People keep telling us how much they loved the food. Sara was incredible too! We showed up at our venue and there was a little mix up. They had another event set up in the area we were supposed to have. They were working on getting stuff from the other event moved out for us, and she jumped right in and started helping. Overall our experience with her was fantastic and we will definitely be using Frannie's again for future events!

Owner was really rude and dismissive to myself and other people who came in to her shop while I was there. She also didn't even ask anyone if they needed help or spend any time talking about her products. Shortly after entering her shop, I wanted to just leave. Glad I stopped by because now I know that I would never stop there again. I don't care about the quality or what kind of products she sells, just her attitude convinced me not to shop there. I give it zero stars, but had to rate it one in order to post.

Stopping in I wasn't sure what to expect since I knew this was a relatively newer food store, but honestly was incredibly pleasantly surprised. The owner has excellent taste, and has a really unique and fun selection of pantry staples, drinks, snacks and sweets to try out. I've since returned (more than a few times), and there's always something new. Really perfect spot for hostess/birthday gifts. (Oh and the fresh bakery on the weekend is just a perfect bonus).
