Franky's Newport Lounge

I love the design of this bar. Lots of bar seating so it makes service very accessible and quick. Friendly bartenders and cheap beer. Loved this neighborhood dive spot.

I live nearby and The Newport offers delicious takeaway pizza. You can either make it at home or they'll bake it for you to go home. Or, eat at the bar too, of course. I though, had things to watch on TV and needed to return to my couch. Seriously. So much cheaper than a delivery pizza. Available late at night. A crispy Milwaukee cracker crust. I think I had a kiddie cocktail while I waited. Ohh yes, she even asked if I wanted the pizza cut into squares or triangles. C'mon. Squares. Obviously.

We love Newport. It's a must stop every time we are in town. Nothing beats a bar with TouchTunes, High Noon, and bartenders who are a quick resemblance to Nick from New Girl. The vibes there are immaculate and we always have the best time while there. If we lived here, my friends and I would quickly make this our 'How I Met Your Mother' bar spot. Highly recommend this as a stop while in Milwaukee!

The Newport is the quintessential Milwaukee bar. Everyone is friendly, and no one gives a rip. Other joints try to be the typical corner tav, but the Newport achieves it without trying. I hope to become a regular, because no one at the Newport cares that I'm an old fart.

Decent craft beer, but cheap shit beer too. String mixers and no nonsense. Not sure if there is a Franky, but if there is he's doing something right. This was one of the best bars we hit on our trip to Millywalkayyy. If you live there and haven't been you should go, if your visiting (when you can now) you should Mark this one down. It's a friendly good natured bar where the crowd wants to be friendly, drink, and have a good time. This is the kind of place where the entire crowd is having a good time, no downers. Thanks

tl;dr good town bar with plenty of TVs for sports timesNewport is a pretty big standard in my group of friends, we are there maybe once every couple of weeks, which might deem us at "townie regulars." It's a corner bar that looks like a house and has Patch, the dog, as it's lovable but gruff mascot. Agreed with others that this is a no frills corners bar that comes along with good (sometimes live) music, reasonably priced drinks, lots of televisions for the games and great bartenders and people. Pull tab machine in tow and some decent grub during Packers games. Note: it DID just get a new line with a bunch of new taps, so maybe there are some frills.It's a quality place and we will continue to be regulars.

Newport has great beers and great people! The bartenders are always so friendly, even when it's busy and things are a little crazy. I feel like everyone at Newport knows each other. It's a classic neighborhood bar and a great place to get to know your neighbors. The patio is a plus too!

Fantastic beer, vibes, old fashioned bar stools, and well maintained bar. We really enjoyed our time here after a tough morning training at the hospital. The tap beer was fresh and you can tell well maintained. Definitely will be going back in the near future.

I just wish they cared about their customers a little more. Very unwelcoming. Was approached and was told to leave if we turned on a light.
