Frankie’s Ice Cream

Frankie's Ice Cream seems to be a favorite, for both locals and for the tourists, to enjoy a nice ice cream or a donut treat on summery days.It's a mini Airstream parked off the main street, and there strung up lights and picnic tables.We ordered:+a scoop of Butter Pecan on a waffle cone+a scoop of Caramel Collision on a kiddie cone - this was caramel ice cream with caramel swirls and chocolate coated caramel mini cupsThe ice cream was okay, but not sure if they are keeping the freezer cold enough; it was already melting when the employees were handing the cones to us.The big thing: I just thought it was super gross that the employees who were preparing the ice cream treats/cones were not using gloves; the kiddie cones didn't have a paper slip since it was too small, but the waffle cones did, and the employees were still handling it incorrectly. UGH.I'm glad I was able to check this place out, but the sanitary situation was just a bit too much for me.+gloveless handling of ice cream/cones

Hit the spot after a warm walk by the lake. I love that they serve out of a little Airstream trailer. You can choose an ice cream treat or mini donuts here.I was so excited to see they had my fave flavor (Blue Moon) here. I enjoyed my Waffle cone. I was intrigued by the floats and donuts, but just stuck with the cone.Items came out pretty quickly for how busy it was. If you have an ice cream craving near the lake, this spot did not disappoint!

This place is so fun, the whole feel of the place is so nostalgic and open pretty much anything you get here is a great mix of delicious and filling, and the lines can get long at points, but they make ice cream super fast and you're always guaranteed to get ice cream in at least 10 minutes and my family bike here all the time and super enjoyable, especially if you local area. And at night it looks super awesome. When all of the bulb lights are on it's a super awesome place to just sit and chill not to mention they're serving your food out of a 50s camper which I always found added to the ambience.

So freaking cute! Plus, it's kid friendly being outside and in walkable distance of the pier. So glad Frankie's has become a family hub during the summer!

Cute ice cream place within an Airstream in the downtown area. The donuts were light a fluffy, not too oily. We ordered the cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was creamy with just the right amount of chocolate chips. My husband ordered the Superman, a bright, multi colored ice cream which tasted fruity. Good spot to sit under the trees and enjoy a sweet treat!

Place is like coming out of a post card, all outdoors. You can seat and watch life at Port Washington go by. We had a cream soda called Jolly Good, I loved it the ice cream we shared vanilla and strawberry with my husband On top of the tasty Ice cream , the very nice staff gave me a couple of stickers which made me Feel like a little child again. Now I know how my husband feels must of the time :)

This cute little ice cream place is nestled right in down town Port in between a few restaurants and stores. This summer/spring only place is simple in design and big in taste. The food is served out of a silver air stream and they have picnic tables and lawn chairs for seating.I had the Praline Pecan, my wife had the elephant tracks and my daughter had 12 mini donuts with sprinkles and chocolate.All was delish! This place is always crowded, but no so much that it is annoying.Go. Here.

Great ice cream. Reasonably priced. A favorite treat for the entire family. Only open during the warmer months late spring to fall when school starts. They have fancy doughnuts and scoops of ice cream and quick contactless payment. The staff is great.

Donut Sundaes! I'm drooling over here thinking of them. Donuts are delicious with the perfect consistency and topped with great ice cream. Service is friendly and the location is beautiful.

I absolutely love the airstream in downtown Port! Definitely a welcome addition and great Cedar Crest ice cream. Can't wait to try the doughnuts
