Fox and Crow Bistro

We've been twice now and have enjoyed the ambiance. Food is good, but not blow your mind good, but also good for the area. It is pricey so expect a larger bill. Service was super friendly and knowledgeable. A bit slow to get food out but they do make everything from scratch! Gave us plenty of time to chit chat.Some interesting seating options, some private areas and also the main area too. Great place for a date, slightly dim lighting. Street parking only. Overall, will continue to come back. Interesting options on the menu. Per the server, it's printed daily.Happy eating!

Reservations are a must. There are not a lot of tables and the place was full when we visited on a Friday night. The open brick and candle lit tables provided a cozy atmosphere. Our table for 6 was well taken care of. Our server was excellent. She was helpful with suggestions of the menu. She was efficient and welcoming. Loved her. We each chose a different meal - love when that happens because it means the menu has so many great things to choose from, plus we get to share! I chose the walleye and it was the best walleye I've ever had. It almost tasted like a sea bass. Loved the combo with brussel sprouts. Fantastic flavors and textures throughout. We started with the apps of brussel sprouts and goat cheese spread. They were so good! Everyone loved their meal. We had an excellent experience. Hope to come back and try a new dish.

Dates = yes! Focaccia = yes!Pasta = yes please!Great service. Great food! Can't stop thinking about the curry sauce on the dates.

Our party of 4 arrived and we were warmly greeted and promptly seated.Our server was Noah, who was pretty young but was really professional. He was friendly, attentive and had plenty of energy.We ordered drinks which came out quickly and then ordered 2 appetizers, Brussels sprouts and the goat cheese spread. Both were excellent!All of our meals were prepared well and all were delicious.I ordered the scarpriello which is a pasta dish and it was excellent with plenty of chicken and Italian sausage.I'm including a photo. We drove 75 minutes to this restaurant and it was well worth it.

Had dinner there last night; it was our first visit. It's a small space and the ambience is very pleasant, though I imagine it might be less so on a busy Fri or Sat night. Our party of four had 3 appetizer sized small plates and 4 main courses (Walleye, Carbonara, and Bolognese). All the food was excellent, but the favorite for all of us was the crispy potato small plate. Our server was very pleasant, but she was new and not yet thoroughly familiar with the menu. It's a bit pricey, but I think the quality justifies the cost. One cautionary note: the menu, including the bar offerings, is relatively limited, so if you're looking for enormous variety you might be disappointed. I suggest you check the menu online in advance. We will definitely be back.

One of my favorite places to eat! Every thing we ordered was spot on!!! Apps was medjool dates, Pork belly, focaccia!!!!!!! It was sooo good! I had this yummy drink, it was so pretty it had blueberries and rosemary garnished in it! That night we had 6 of us for dinner. The service was so great, bubbly and tentative to our every need! I loved the lobster risotto I'm Gluten free and the choices for me was many!! The setting or should I say atmosphere was warm and fancier then your average places, great for a date night or just a spectacular dinner with friends!Will definitely definitely be back!!!!

Food and service are excellent!We have always had a great experience with the food, and service. The ambiance is nice too. We hope they will stay in business for a long time, as we love to go there for a great meal.

We had an amazing dinner at Fox & Crow. The appetizers and entrees were outstanding. We started with chorizo stuffed dates -- AMAZING! My Risotto was velvety and rich. My husband truly enjoyed the Schnitzel. Crème Brûlée is always my favorite. If we lived closer this would be our usual spot.

Fox and Crow is phenomenal. The food is creative, fresh, and cooked perfectly!! Truly a gem you wouldn't expect within a 50 mile radius, the absolute best. Plus the service is so lovely and welcoming, must try!

We always make it a point to dine here when in the area. Always delicious with friendly service. Love the overall bistro feel. Chic but not pretentious. Last night we shared the Pork Belly (the chilis and kimchi add such flavor), followed by the Lobster Risotto and Scarpriello. The flavors...... We finished it off with Crème Brûlée and Chocolate Lava Cake. The Crème Brûlée was amazing. Sadly the Lava Cake, while good lacked the lava!! Everything we've had has been excellent. So happy we found this little gem shortly after it opened. Go if you haven't been!!The owners are working hard with the rest of the staff. It is a labor of love for sure.
