Fort Atkinson Family Restaurant

Fort Family Restaurant is named for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere which makes you feel like family. The wait staff is very attentive, as is the owner who makes sure everyone is taken care of. The food and coffee quality js consistently excellent. The wait time to be seated is never more than a few minutes, even on a busy Sunday morning. I usually get the homestyle French toast or biscuits and gravy, but recently tried the Mediterranean platter. We've become regulars for breakfast and sometimes lunch - both are great. This is one of the best restaurants in the area!

Well run family restaurant. Food is always good. Food always comes out fast. If you're in the area, and you're looking for a good breakfast, make sure to stop here. Also a bonus, it's very reasonably priced.

great food. excellent food. nice waiter waitress. great service. but i wish they served another veggie besides corn with their fish dinners. get something else that brightens up the dinner plate.

Great service and food-- much of it is prepared on site and from scratch. We eat here about 2-3x per month and for the last 15+ years. I mostly select off their breakfast menu, although I have enjoyed their sandwich wraps and chicken-fried steak. A nice home-town place with atmosphere and employees to match!!

I love little mom and pop type family restaurants and this fits the bill. Good home cooking with reasonable prices.

I stop in for breakfast about once a year since moving to Fort 8 years ago. It takes about a year to forget that the food is mediocre. At least for breakfast. Had two pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage links. The sausage links are super fatty and poor quality. With Jones Farm down the road how can they serve these sausages. Yuk. Eggs were fine and pancakes, well boring is the best phrase I can come up with. I've never had lunch or dinner here. Restaurant is always busy, lots on Senior Circuit folks. No offense intended. Service is fast. Not overly friendly. No "thanks for coming" or "did you Need anything else?" But if you want quick service then this is the place for you.

Kinda bad honestly, waiters/waitresses had little to no charisma and made us feel like we were bothering them just for being seated/served. Food was lower-end and not really worth what you pay. Spent ~$30 here when it should've been max $15.

Very good, eating here as we speak, atmosphere is good, you get a nice breeze feels like your outside kinda. Also everyone is nice, if you're in the area I highly recommend, also good prices

Good diner food. Bright and clean. Quick orders and friendly service, family owned and operated. And ridiculously inexpensive. We eat here every time we're in Ft Atkinson

This place is great. Family owned and ran, the perfect family restaurant. My kids love it, and so do I. Everything is very reasonably priced as well.. great place to grab soup and a sandwich, breakfast or a salad.
