Awesome you pick one of many sausages or steaks from the display case and they cook it for you on the spot. I do have one suggestion. I wish they would make their own mustard as opposed to using packets. Actually several different types of mustard would be awesome. They could even retail them.

Grateful that there were a few pastry options for breakfast. My son chose a chocolate long John and said it tasted just like any other donut and I got a Persian donut with chocolate icing on top. It was delicious!! I hadn't ever seen them before. I guess they are a cross between donut and cinnamon roll - would definitely get again. Staff was helpful.

Looking for something that screams "Milwaukee"? The sausage platter for lunch was perfect. Three sausages of your choice straight from the meat case, three different cheeses and a full bar of beers and ciders to wash it down. Yellow and French mustards. Pretzel roll. All for $25. More than enough for two people to share and we still had leftovers to take back to the hotel. Server was super friendly. Great suggestions. Already looking to go back before we leave town

Another fail. Starving in Milwaukee. Got the Philly cheese steak and the meat taste sour? Thankfully I got some chips. I also found some plastic in my food. It happens and would have been fine if it was good.

We bought three types of fresh sausage here (including the Capone and a Polish sausage), and they all ended up being delicious! However, they were all wrapped together with no labeling to distinguish which was which. I know everyone is busy, but separate packaging (rather than one big bundle) and stickers or a scribble on the butcher paper to tell you what's what when you get home would be useful.

I like the pizza but I LOVE the truffle fries. The large frites comfortably feeds 4-6 and you get 3 dipping sauces with it. Who doesn't love a variety of sauces. You get ketchup, garlic aioli, and a spicy aioli. Highly recommend the frites if you are a fry lover like me.Pizza is good if you are being indecisive in the market. It is a pretty generous size for 1.

A cool spot in the Public Market! We were getting sausage from across the way when I saw Truffle Frites on the menu board. We ended up ordering a Rueben Panini and small Truffle Frites. Quoted wait time was 8 minutes which gave us time to grab a bottle of wine. The place was hopping and employees behind the counter jumping! When my name was called and bag handed over, a woman exclaimed, "what is that smell!!" It was the Truffle Frites. She said she kept smelling it and it was enticing! I had to agree. It came with three dipping sauces- Ranch, ketchup, and another. They were al delicious accompaniments to the fries. 23 ordered a small and it was a to-go container bursting at the seams. The Reuben was melty and delicious too. I'm happy we stopped!

This is located in the food market at downtown Milwaukee. Not a particularly large food market like Philadelphia, Baltimore Vancouver or Boston but it was quaint. The Foltz family market offered a variety of sandwiches and hot foods. I chose turkey and bacon, which was very filling for the price. Very tasty. I don't normally like processed meat but this was fine. The sandwich was pre-wrapped in a cooler and had to be reheated on a press, which took about 10 minutes or so, which gave me time to walk around the place.
