Fitzgerald's Genoa Junction

It's the best fish boil I've found and yes, I've been to Door County. No skin, no heads just wonderfully boiled cod and given a bath in butter. Then you get some very tasty Ribs and BBQ chicken. The boiled potatoes and Grilled onions are not to be missed either. Did I mention this is All You Can Eat?!?! Some fantastic rye bread and a slice of apple square top it off. I've been going for 15 years and still look forward to next time. Just go find it and you'll understand.

We heard rave reviews regarding the place and felt we had to try it. Although it was all you can eat, we found the prices to be quite high, considering it didn't include basic drinks with the exception of water. The food quality was mediocre at best. The item that got the highest reviews was the worst in our table of seven opinions. This also plays into the price being high for the quality. While the atmosphere was nice, the process from entrance to self-serving was unlike anything I had ever experienced and found it quite odd.

Our first seafood boil in the Badger state and boy was it tasty and hearty! Come hungry for sure because their menu is all you can eat. They are famous for their cod fish boil but we ordered their ayce (all you can eat) combo of buttery boiled cod, honey bbq chicken and bbq ribs. The meal comes with coleslaw, boiled potatoes, onions and rye bread. The meal is finished off with an apple strudel dessert which we had no room for because we were stuffed! Drinks are purchased a la carte. We visited in February 2023 but I'm sure this place is bustling during the warmer months. Regardless of when you visit, the food and good service will have you visiting year-round. Definitely worth it if you are in the Genoa City/Lake Geneva area.

We went to Fitzgerald's saturday nite. First of all it's CASH only. You pay upon entering and get a ticket, Food choices are fish, chicken, chicken and fish, chicken fish and ribs. It's all you can eat except dessert. Food quality was Good ; drinks are ala carte. Went in at 4 pm when it opened and there was a line already, The price is the draw at 22-24 dollars forAn all you can eat experience. Personally i dont care for the process of getting your food but it's not the restaurants fault. Just knowThis is not an elegant white tablecloth type of restaurant. But good food, plenty of it and nice staff makes me an occasional customer.

Went after getting referral from dentist near Antioch. - very nice location / house / atmosphere - $22 for "all you can eat" ribs chicken and fish. - drinks extra - employees overall didn't seem happy - while this is like a door county fish boil they use cod vs door county white fish. - waitress seemed overworked for area she had to handle - presented with a blue ticket to use when ordering food .. was told to cut it in half so "if you want seconds" you'll relinquish the other half - this was confusing since when we ordered we were told it was all you can eat. Owner may want to explain what is it - all you can eat or?- when I went up the second time , the man (owner?) dishing food appeared annoyed that I wanted more fish and ribs. - apple pie slice dessert was adequate and flavorful. Overall good one time experience not sure I'll go back.

Every time we come to Illinois we have to do the boil. The fish is the best then I would say the chicken. Easy and well priced.

Great fish !! Very small servings !! No waitress service for water until we were almost done eating !!!! Also for the price that is charged the meal should have included soda not just coffee or water ! Unimpressed! It's a shame because this place could be so much better !!!

When my sister mentiones having dinner here. I said ok but not really excited because Im not a fish person. I was sooo wronv and im glad we came here.This is an all you can eat place. Menu has COD Chicken and Ribs. Some sides potato, onion, coleslaw. Bread and butter and Cherry Pie for dessert. Not sure if the dessert changes.You have a choice if you want fish only or with chicken or all three. We did all three for $21.It was so good. It this is saying a lot because im not a fish or ribs person. But i would definitely go back. They pour butter over the cod. Cooked perfectly the chicken and ribs are tender and seasoned perfectly.Parking is not an issue. And be warned this is a CASH ONLY place. There is an ATM inside the restaurant itself.MUST TRY!

Best fish boil in southern WI. All you can eat and reasonably priced for all you get. Super friendly staff. Love this place

Enjoy the fish boil. The honey chicken is delicious. Menu has something for everyone. Service excellent and love the outdoor dining. We frequent this establishment.
