Fiesta Garibaldi

Last minute service for 30 on a Friday night, no problema. For where we were, surprisingly good american-Mexican food. Seemed all freshly made with pride. Nice people, great service, and a real nice selection of fruity margaritas.

I ordered food here one night to get me through a weekend at the hotel across the road. Ordered at 5:40, by 7:15 I called to find out what was going on with the order. The driver didn't follow the instructions or address about delivering to my hotel room. The restaurant was helpful in telling me she left the order in "the ballroom" about 20 minutes prior. The hotel found the order, no marking with my name or room, so that was confusing.The actual food itself is pretty good. Authentic and delicious Mexican food is hard to find in Wisconsin, and this place is actually good for being in the middle of the state/sort of nowhere! The food was generally fresh and I thought the steak was cooked perfectly. The guacamole was delicious and the chips were good (not too greasy).

There are some silly reviews about this place...check my other ones. Won't tell ya wrong...this is the best Mexican food within a few hundred miles at least, if you like seafood and service and margaritas and all the great sides...If you live within 50 miles, get here. If further, make the pilgrimage! Friendly staff. Hannah is outstanding!Nice ambiance - very bright and colorful. Great margaritas. And the food is the main attraction. Great salsas and guacamole - fresh and light and flavorful. Queso blanco has a nice bit of pepper chopped in. Soooo good. The seafood is amazing. Langostinos that give Italians a serious challenge. Snow crab clusters with a hint of nutmeg maybe? - really good. Everything was excellent, and great prices!You will be happy you came!

Can here on our first night out going somewhere where we can sit down and have a meal while newborn sleeps here. Got a margarita which was small in comparison to other Mexican restaurants. The flavor wasn't bad. The chips were hot the salsa was okay. Ordered what I though would Be a decent meal. The wife ordered tamales. I got some steak enchiladas. When we got our plates the tamales didn't look quite right. My dinner tasted a bit strange( to put it politely) will not be back ate 2 bites and paid for our dinner and left. I do not recommend going here.

As far as Mexican food restaurants this is a cut above basic Mexican food. Varied menu and very large restaurant with lots of seating. No reservations needed Great for large groups. I had a trio platter with a taco, tamale and a Chile relleno. Generous serving. I had the beef tongue taco. Can't find this at many restaurants. Tasty. The tamale was average and the Chile relleno was good. Lots of drinks available which seemed to be the draw for many at the restaurant. Service was average but friendly. One of our party had mole poblano. It was nice but bit mild for our tastes. Since they have a large menu, I'll stop by again and give them another try. I'll edit my review if necessary.

Excellent enchiladas. Stopped in for lunch on our way to Madison. This place adds flavor to their food. Spicy salsa is just right spicy. Great find

While the service was adequate and the atmosphere fine-the food was awful. We ordered enchiladas with mole. The mole tasted like bad barbecue sauce. The rice was orange and had no flavor and a very hard texture. We will not be back. The best part if that meal was the margarita.

Friday fish fry is good. Choice of fries or rice & beans. Good margaritas and beers. Enchiladas are very good. They offer authentic tacos. I like corn shells. Tasty salsas.

We are from Pittsburgh and were visiting family who live in the area this past July. I was hankering for some Mexican food... we actually drove by this place accidentally and came back the next day for dinner. Excellent, authentic, and delicious Mexican food! I ordered chicken tostadas...perfect! Our server was fabulous and I loved the piña colada that I ordered! I won't miss a trip back to this restaurant the next time we're in town!

It's such a delight to go back to enjoy this colorful, beautiful and inviting restaurant after 5 years of living away from the area. Don't let the simple exterior fool you. The decor & interior walls have beautiful & scenic murals that take you to Mexico as you dine.The friendly, great service and delicious food continue! They serve the best and perfectly (crispy and but not dry) fried whole tilapia with seasoned garlic. The seafood offerings are very extensive, including fresh oysters, crab legs, etc. Yummy seafood ceviche. The ox tongue (lengua) with salsa verde is very flavorful. Fresh, hot sauce dips for corn chips are truly hot & spicy. The margaritas complement the meal well.I need to resume dining here, despite the distance from home. It's a good stop for the movie theater or the shopping outlet or as we did, after a trail hike.
