Great food for a great price. Service is always fast!I have been here more times than I can count on my two hands. This is a lunch break option or a dinner out, either way, it's speedy service!The chips and salsa are addicting as always. Some of my meal suggestionswould be the buritto cho cho which is a chicken burrito that they cover in their delicious cheese sauce and served with rice and beans. The fajitas, grande quesadilla, and cocktail de camaron are all excellent options as well. The margaritas can be hit or miss here.

We went here for dinner. I ordered the combo plate and requested chicken and was served beef. A different server brought our food to the table and then was extremely rude when I brought it up to her that I had ordered chicken and not beef. We weren't impressed with the food when it finally did arrive as it seemed bland. There are better Authentic Mexican restaurants in Rockford to give business to. We wont be back.

So first off I will say that this restaurant is very clean and has a very good scenic atmosphere to match the cuisine. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good and the bar area looked well-stocked.Did not notice a lot of people in this place. The staff was professional however they were not at all cheery or smiling nor did they want to carry on a conversation with you other than take your order. Some people may like that some people might not.There is plenty of room to park and plenty of seating so that you are not congested.The food is another story. It was actually the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. The rice was the only thing that was remotely good and it had corn, snaps, onions and lima beans in it which you would expect and a good Mexican rice. The beef I chose was ground beef and it had several meatball size chunks that I had to cut apart with a fork and two small bones, very small of course, that I had to pull out of my mouth. After the second one I stopped eating my burrito and enchilada. I did eat the taco it pretty much tasted like the rest. The chips were obviously store-bought and tasted like cardboard, no tortilla goodness here, the salsa was ok but they only give you enough for almost half of your chip basket. There was no distinguishing flavor between the burrito, the enchilada or the taco or three pretty much taste the same with the exception of a hardshell or softshell. The thing that bothered me the most about my meal was that the food was barely warm. Nothing on my plate was hot and the closer I got to the center of my food the cooler it was which made me wonder if they microwave the food. Another reason I thought this is my food was a literally out in eight minutes. I even told the waitress that was fast almost too fast. I drink tea and water. The tea was good.I noticed that there was quite a bit of food left on other peoples plates as I went to the register to pay. I seriously think they need to revisit the quality of the food they are serving as well as Howard is prepared. People don't want slightly warm/cold food that is cooked in less than 10 minutes.I would not recommend this place. I checked the reviews and thought it pretty good to try but maybe those reviews are from a time when they had different staff and their food was different? I do know that there was one review that said they had really good chips, which I was expecting, only to find out they had changed the chips that they used at that time.I feel like I threw away money.

This is one of my favorite places to eat for the price. I'll pick Fiesta Cancun before anywhere else. The tamales are great or I'll get two fish tacos with cilantro, onion and sour cream.

Good and fast service. The crew was really on their toes last night. The food was average. The chips were thick and slightly warm and the salsa was a traditional red salsa. The burrito and enchilada were virtually the same, really couldn't tell them apart. The tamale was too hard to eat. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but the interior is very nice and decorated with "Modern-Mex" furniture. My ticket before tip was $12.01.

At first glance the place is very clean and very spacious. The food we ordered was absolutely incredible. The salsa is to die for good I put it on everything :-) I highly recommend this place

I absolutely love Fiesta Cancun! I love how big the portions are! Staff is friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. The food came out quickly and always love the free salsa and chips! Probably my favorite place to eat in Rockford!

We ordered the guacamole appetizer to start, it arrived and you could tell right away it wasn't fresh, came from a package. Wasn't good, and to top it off the waiter's thump touched the guacamole when he set it down. I ordered a Fajita Quesadilla and my husband ordered enchiladas. I had one bite and was very disappointed. It was more like a chicken taco. There were no peppers to speak of and just tasted terrible. The rice and beans were not good either. The whole meal was just gross!! The waiter never offered to get me something else just said sorry. I never ate the entree and should not been charged. When we paid the check the manager never even asked how was everything which is the usual question when you pay. I told him my meal was awful and he just said have a good evening. Needless to say we would never go back to Fiesta Cancun off of Perryville

The positives: the portions and prices for lunch were just okay.The negatives: one of the longest waits...from getting the chips and salsa to getting drinks to even being able to place an order. We had a party of 5 and we all had to ask for any service multiple times. Then, the waitress kept on coming back to confirm specifics of orders. The food came out staggered - over the span of at least 12 minutes. No water was refilled. And the taste of the food? Dry, flavorless, some burnt, different toppings than ordered....Then, the delay to get our check - what a joke!We had to each go up to the register and tell them what each person ordered again. They kept on asking about margaritas....4 of us ordered water and one ordered Pepsi. We had to repeatedly explain that we didn't order any alcohol!We will not be back. Not worth it.

Do not get carry out i called at 4 and they said it'd be done in 10 mins so i got there at like 4:15 and stood there waiting for someone to help me then finally 20 mins later someone asks what i need and i say i have an order to go and he says i'll go check then he never comes back then a girl asks what i need goes and looks and never comes back and then finally another girl asks and comes back with me food and didn't leave with my food until 5.
