The resturant was closed for at least a year due to a fire so it's been quite awhile since I've been here. The decore is quite similar to before which is nice but I was hopeful that they would take it to the next level. The service and the food were both fantastic and we will definitely be back.

We really enjoy hitting up Fiesta Cancun when we're in the area! It's a large restaurant and can accommodate small and large groups. The prices are very reasonable for the enormous portions you receive! So far every experience I've had has been great; from the delicious food to the friendly and comical service! The waiters we've had have been fantastic and the food comes out quickly. Very tasty drinks! The ambiance is fun and spacious, so you don't feel congested. Clean restrooms. Good for both adults and kids.Any cons? Minimal parking, as it's on the main street downtown. There are lots within walking distance but don't expect to get a prime place in front. Highly recommend this for some authentic cuisine!

I stopped here for lunch based off a suggestion so this was today's lunch spot. It's on the main drag so parking is impossible if you get there too late for lunch. The place has a nice outdoor patio off the main building for the nice days. The interior is ok with open duct work and high ceilings with old looking fixtures.First off service was so slow from getting seated, getting chips and salsa, drink and my meal which was weird because the place was not even 1/2 full with the patio and restaurant. I ordered the perfect sm margarita on the rocks which was awful because it was warm with ice on top so you had to stir it for a while to get it cold, that's a first for me and I get around. The chips and salsa were ok with thin chips that were half way between fresh and stale so just on the edge hard wise. The hot salsa was ok which is basically a purée with a few chunks in it with some heat. I'm finding it very annoying that my table has no napkins or silverware so I ask for napkins when I got the chips and salsa and I get no napkins, thank something I didn't spill any salsa. My plate hits the table and still no silverware or napkins to eat my food with, seriously how the F am I supposed eat my lunch.I ordered the taco dinner with one shrimp taco that's not an option by I was told to try one with one ground beef and one al pastor with rice and beans. My plate looked way better than it tasted and only took 33 minutes from the time I sat down because service was so dam slow. The shrimp tacos looked awful because they were pieces of shrimp and not whole shrimp so the presentation was not good. The ground beef taco didn't have much flavor and the meat was very wet for some reason. The al pastor taco was not a great version of al pastor but ok, better than the ground beef flavor wise. The rice and beans were average but I always top them with salsa and mix it all up so it's better than by them self. When I was done I asked for the check and a box because I was full and I'm not going to cram the whole plate down so my waitress proceeded to to stop at the large party table next to me and take everyones drink and food order, seriously I'm trying to leave. For not being even half full the service was awful with mediocre food and warm drinks is amazing to say the least, I'm one and done here.

it was busy on a Sat. Night so figured it would be good. Chips were stale, Margarita was decent and food was ok. Looks like the masses have this one pegged.

I really enjoyed this place. Reminds me of a supper club as the space is huge and they have a pretty big menu. Our food was all very good and the drinks were great! My only complaint is that my party of 3 got our food way after a large party of 8 when they arrived and ordered after us. But still tasty.

Our first meal at a restaurant in Covid times. The food is great. It tastes very fresh and the service was very safe & prompt. The "tacos de cecina" were fantastic, truly a great taste from home. The patio is great for outdoor seating, but tables were much closer than expected. Staff wears face masks, which is highly appreciated. My server was not wearing one when he took our order but then he did when he brought our food. Patrons appreciate that staff wears masks at all times. Great place to eat in Oconomowoc!

Fiesta Cancun is a classic Mexican restaurant in downtown oconomowoc. They have plenty of seating so it was a great place to go on a weekend night and not have to wait for a table. Everyone in my group ordered a house margarita, which was very tasty. I ordered the smothered chimichangas and thought they were great. Of course we gobbled down the chips and salsa, the spicy was really spicy!

We were excited to go back for the first time after they reopened, but were pretty disappointed with the service. We were there towards the end of lunch and there were only 3-4 tables of people. After taking our order and giving us our food neither of the two servers ever came back to refill drinks or ask if we needed anything. We tried to flag them down but they were both sitting and using their cell phones the whole time we were there. It took one of us going over to ask them for the check and to go box. The food was good, but we won't be driving out of our way to come due to the service.

I felt that Fiesta Cancun was a fairly standard Mexican spot. There's not anything too necessarily special about it, but I feel that nothing I tried was bad either. I personally ordered the tamales, and others in my group ordered mole enchiladas and tacos al pastor. They also load you up with a ton of beans and rice on the side. The waitress didn't come by too often, but I believe that's due to us sitting outside on a busy day. Sitting outside is definitely the way to go, as you can see the rest of downtown from there. Overall, I would say that it serves as a nice addition to the Oconomowoc downtown and I'm glad it could reopen after the fire.

I definitely think this place got better after the fire. I got ordered the quesadillas and they were amazing, the side of beans and rice was delicious also, loved the atmosphere too!
