Fec's Place

Popped in here randomly while passing through town. A true old school tavern vibe from the decor, bar tender and clientele. We stayed for one beer before hitting the road again. Bartender was nice enough and attentive. They have there regulars, as the bartender was playing Yahtzee with a few of them at the bar. If you're looking for a genuine midwestern tavern, than this is your spot. I can't imagine I'll ever be in Kenosha again but I'd return in the future.

Drinks only stop.The layout must have changed since the pool table was clearly an obstacle when we stopped in. Spilly Jim at the bar was wearing more Bud Light than we saw him drink. The bar countertop had at least half of his drink, too, and no effort was made to clean up his masterpiece. Though not crowded, the folks there were definitely deep in their cups and getting a bit rowdy. Visitors are not exactly welcome in these conditions, so we drank up, paid up and skedaddled.

Exactly what you would expect in this town. Open very late and was crowded until a fight broke out around 2am. Enjoyed a couple drinks and darts. Obvious to me this was a local hangout.

I don't understand how this isn't a top 5 bar in Kenosha?!Younger crowd but still enjoyable for all adults. Pool, darts, and ping pong are all available to play. They have leagues for everything it seems like and the staff is super friendly. If you haven't stopped at Fecs's Place then you truly are missing out. Definitely recommend trying the Fec U Long Island.

Incredible atmosphere and a good variety of finger food including pizza. The drinks are high quality but still find some way to be less expensive than most of the surrounding area. Several pool tables, dart machines, and even a ping pong table! Bartenders were very friendly as well. A loaded juke box supplies a variety of music that you can even control from an app on your phone. Several TVs layered throughout the establishment supply an access to most major sporting games. There is also a nice cozy back patio with tables and chairs.

Good diverse crowd. Pool tables, ping-pong, darts , good juke box. Very affordable drinks. What else do you need? A must stop if you are downtown Kenosha!

Good strong drinks in a friendly atmosphere. Good pizzas. Stocked gameroom: pool, darts, slots, coin pusher, ping pong table, dart baseball, air hockey, and old time juke box.

Horrible experience. Walked in with twelve 27-year-olds. One person had an Indiana driver's license and for some reason two flashlights and a manager were needed to verify if it was real or fake. THEN, mind you, we were here for a bridal party/send off for our friend moving to England and they wouldn't let her fiancé in from the UK. Needless to say we went to Sweets down the street where they were welcoming to our business. Cheers to Sweets don't bother with Fecs.

The bartenders are awesome and it's a great place. However there is one bouncer that has a problem with service dogs and constantly harasses me for having my service dog with me when he is working at the door. The bouncer has demanded my dog's registration (which he knows he cannot legally ask for) and has kicked us out on one occasion, even though my service dog only lays at my feet and doesn't bother anyone. It's a 5 star bar when that bouncer isn't working
