Faros Restaurant & Cocktails

I stopped here while I was in town to get some breakfast and start my day and at 6:50 am and the place was mostly empty. The building has a faux light house, nice outdoor covered bar area and a cool stone fish pond. The place itself looks like a dated Greek restaurant with booths and tables.I asked my server if the biscuits and gravy was good and she said very good so I got the 1/2 order with two eggs because I didn't want a full breakfast. The biscuits and gravy looked ok but it had minimal tiny pieces of sausage for the most part. My sunny side up eggs were perfect. I thought that the biscuits and gravy were average and nothing to wow you over. Overall it's an ok restaurant for breakfast but I have had better.

This is a great family owned restaurant. The menu is extensive and easy to find something to fit your appetite.The have a big salad bar, and a full wet bar. Located on US 41, this is a must stop for us when we are in town.

I've been eying this place for a while. I see it when I'm going to work. Of course, I looked up the reviews. Ultimately, I'm glad I came and checked the place out for myself.It has a salad bar. It has a full service bar , and it has a great atmosphere. My waitress Cassie was very attentive. Checked on me often. She even knew when I was getting full and brought me to go boxes. That was worth five stars by itself, but the food was great. I'll be back for lunch. Until next time, thanks for a great dining experience in Wisconsin. Great prices, too. Come check them out. You won't be disappointed.

I stop for breakfast when ever I'm driving by early in the morning. I love the food, seldom can finish my plate. Was very disappointed when They started adding a fee for using credit cards. I think they should give a cash discount, so the menu shows the price you will pay!

Food and service are excellent. I have never had a bad meal at Faros. The one thing they could do that would make it perfect is to get rid of fox "news" on their tv's. It's everywhere you look. Their is no escaping it!

Meh.At the $15 price point Faros disappoints. Their baseline price is $13 for salad bar...and that is at the high end for value. Where things go bad is when you couple it with the "special" (Jun 15) an greasy-oily grilled ham and cheese accompanied. Soup on the salad bar very good. Spouse selected spinach pie which was aged enough to resist cutting. IF you select Faros I might recommend just pay up the salad bar only and then your tip can be commensurate with self-service. Faros engages in Ticky-Tack 3.5 percent add on for card use. They honestly say so on the door. Faros under delivers on quality. You can read my other reviews to learn about 5 stars at $15.

Great sandwiches, delicious fries and friendly, fast service. Stopped by on a hunch - what a pleasant surprise. We will definitely drop by again...and again.

The customer service here with waiters and waitresses are top notch, they are friendly, welcoming and attentive. I never had to ask for another cup of coffee, they kept it full. I never felt rushed to get done and leave. This is a larger establishment with enough seating. The food was served warm and it was very delicious. The prices in the meals are affordable. This is a great place for families, friends, couples and teens. They have a wide variety of good, a large salad bar and cocktails. They also have a breakfast brunch which is also a great deal. It's a great, affordable place to gather and have a meal and a drink!! The parking lot is also large enough to still find a spot to park when they are busy.

food was extremely over priced and pretty awful greek salad was $14 and consisted of 4 olives, 3 tomato wedges and some wilted lettuce. dressing was awful. gyro was $17 - dry and tasted old. would never visit again.

Was at Faros Restaurant in Fond Du Lac on Sunday for breakfast with my wife and Grandaughter the meal was good but what was not good was having to look at Fox News on every TV, The owner may like and agree with Fox, I don't and I would rather not have to see it. This I think is good reason to eat somewhere else.
