Glad they decided to put a decent store in place if the one that left. You could call it a "mini festival foods." It has everything, but it's a smaller version. They still have that great deli, fresh produce, dairy, and a great variety of sun dried. The staff is very helpful and polite. Reasonable prices, and plenty of free parking.

This place has customer care in mind. Every section of the store seems to have somebody willing to offer ideas that make your experience perfect.

SMALL TOWN SHOPPINGOver the last 12+ years our little food store has changed. It went from Lakefront to Sentry to finally Festival Foods. The original owners held on as long as they could until they realized they had no buying power by only having a single unit. The only good thing about Festival Foods is we actually have affordable prices. They are not as low as Woodman's but much better then in years past. In the past I would simply cringe at some of the prices I paid. I even considered going hungry. Ha!This store has everything you will need in a culinary bind. This is our go to place when we are missing stuff or need a certain food item. The checkers are a little unfriendly and if you don't have the coupon clipped then they won't give you the sale price. This is a little annoying because literally ever store in America will say...no problem I've got the coupon right here. I'm assuming this is a direct order from their manager to be a pain because all of the checkers can't be this mean and unhelpful. They also have a small beer cave. The beer cave is always the best in the summer when I'm hot. It gives me a chance to cool off. I highly recommend you look out for the add on deals. These are great and you don't get these in Illinois. It's brilliant to purchase a 12 pack of beer and then get a package of free brats. This should be a requirement of every grocery store around the world. The parking lot is huge and there's a red box located outside in case you want to watch a movie. This store is the place to shop at when you need food. It's our small town grocery and we are very lucky to have it. FLASHBACK - This use to be the home of Grumpy Gary who use to make all of the brats here. He was always great to talk to and he really wasn't that grumpy. He use to have 20+ brats in his glass case. It was always fun to try and discover some new brat flavors. Grumpy Gary is definitely missed. He was a fixture in the store and part of the tradition I miss.

I love supporting local establishments, however, this place drives me nuts . And the only reason why I say it drives me nuts is because the prices are pretty high and they have rarely what you need. I saw a person leave out of there paying $250 of groceries on an almost full cart. If I go to Woodman's, at that price, it would have been 2 carts of food. Here's one thing that I can tell you, their multiple flavored brats and burgers are the bomb. No other place around offer as many flavors. It's the only reason why I'm giving them 2 stars.

Very good foods here and usually open until 10 PM. The staff and cashiers are very helpful and will go out of their way to help you, they have a deli here, that I absolutely love. They also have donuts and cheesecakes that they make that right there in the grocery store and in the deli, they actually make very good takeout.

I love our Lakeside grocery! The employees are always so friendly and helpful! Their fresh food section has an awesome selection. And, although they have a good selection of brand names, I wish their prices were closer to my limited budget. However, they do offer Senior Citizens day and their weekly sales paper does have some really good deals.

I have repeatedly come to this store and they are often out of stock on what I'm looking to buy. They tend to have a lot of junk food but try to find healthy food they're always low, it's like they don't want to stock up on it. I'm at the point that I probably won't be coming back here. I really wish this will turn into a full Festival grocery store. Festival food's health food section is awesome! But not at this store.

They can not keep up with the rapid rise in food prices so yellow tags are not updated till after store opens. early shoppers see one price and pay another. Sad for people on a fixed income. Berkots in Twin Lakes is not that far away.
