Ethel's Pub & Grill

Stopped for drinks. Enjoyed watching the other customers and hearing great stories from a delightful bartender. Played a few games of chance and had a great afternoon killing time until we could check in to the hotel in town. Would stop here again in the future when in the area.

Decent burgers, not the best interior. The Ethel Burger is a heart attack in the making.

Perfectly crispy and blisteringly hot wings. One step down from the hottest sauce is my usual choice. Friendly service, and good draft beer choices.

Oh look! Gluten free pizza and buns! Hallelujah! Staf was super friendly and very accommodating. My husband has fallen in love with the Ethil's burger and Mack n cheese bites. I had a gluten free pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It was not bad at all, good motzerella and pepperoni. Mushrooms are canned, but that's ok. The crust was ok, not crispy because it's done in it's own pan, but it was not mush. Staffed asked me how it was, and wanted all the feed back I could give them on how to improve it. Very Happy and very tasty!

Stopped IN for drinks and food. Never got food.Terrible customer service. Ethel seems to be a very unhappy person. Will never go to again.

If you happen to be driving thru chilton Ethel's is the place to stop for lunch. This place has great throw back atmosphere, outstanding burgers and everything is reasonably priced.Gary behind the bar has great customer service and stories with local knowledge of the area. They are open on Mondays which is rare and I have never been disappointed.Sit at the old time bar or a table and enjoy a great meal

Food is great. However; to go prices are ridiculous! We order lunch from there and bring back to eat at work. They charge $0.75 per EACH to go box. They also charge a different price for ranch dressing each time as well, sometimes it's $0.25 sometimes it's $0.75. We love the food, but the price has made us not order anymore. It's almost an additional $5-7 dollars to get to go, not including a tip! We were very excited when we found out Ethel's was coming to Kiel, as we don't have many options to order from. But to learn that the prices are almost double of the other establishments in town was a disappointment.

they were friendly, great food and great place!!! it was i and my parents first time and grandpa 3 or 4 ? there!!! i had kitty cat tail, tater tot supreme, my mom and granpa had mushroom swiss burger and summer shanty beer and my dad had bacon cheese burger!!! i recommend this place!! we will come back soon. i hope i can try chicken chips next time!!

We stopped at Ethel's on Sunday Sept. 10th, 2023. We arrived approximately 1:30. It was the Packers first football game starting at 3:25. We ordered a drink and got menus. We couldn't get our order taken because the bartender was too busy catering to her friends. I told her we were ready to order and I got the hairy eyeball. In the meantime, other customers were coming in. She was very rude to them also when they asked again what type of beers are on tap. I told my husband I wanted to leave and go somewhere where we could get our order taken. He said just wait. We finally got to order. I saw the bartender look at my empty glass and would not fill it. The cook brought out the food and refilled my beer. Bartender never checked to see how everything was. The cook asked. Then we asked for the check. She told the bartender to bring us the bill. "Oh they never asked." She said. Finally, we got the bill. This bartender was too busy doing shots of tequila with her friends to pay attention to paying customers! We've been to Ethel's before, great food. But this bartender was piss poor and should've got someone to work for her if she didn't want to be there. She wasn't worth a nickel tip! If I go there again, and she's working, I'll walk out the door, not worth my time!

Arrived in Chilton late and found this place on Yelp......got there and there and no food service BUT, the bartender offered to make what she could (I want to say her name was Casey or Cassidy sorry for the misspelling or wrong name). SHE was great both with food, drinks, hospitality AND even taught us a bar game - Bar Dice - and we had a great time and I would recommend to anyone who happens to find this town (we were there for a Packer game)final note ......ONLY one small issue was a man name Pat, who happen to walk in and owns a local brewery there and I WISHED we never talk to him...the only thing I would say about him is that he is one BIG ignorant racist....the bartender did everything she could to apologize for his behavior and I did not want to ruin a trip with my kids....THANK you for understanding Casey.
