Ernie’s Midtown Pub

Popped in to Ernie's for brunch with some friends in town. Seated right away. Was pretty busy but not over crowded. Service was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Fun setting and bar vibe. Food was decent. All the brunch food was great. I went on a limb and ordered the orange chicken wrap... not my favorite. Slightly like Trader Joe's frozen orange chicken and frozen fried rice in a tortilla. Everyone else's food looked good and they seemed to enjoy it.

Went to Ernies for my first time for Christmas Eve Brunch so my review is strictly referencing the brunch experience. The place was busy but the service was quick. We tried the Biscuits and gravy burrito and the breakfast crunchwrap. Both were great options and the tator tots were crispy. Dipping the burrito in the gravy was delicious. No complaints on food here! Beautiful Rockford mural on the side of the building for a perfect photo op!

Good food, good service nice decor. Italian beef sandwich is good but huge. Craft beer tap.....and flies. So many flies I could not enjoy my meal, felt like I was eating in a stable.

Great food. Lots of drink options.l especially beer. Friendly staff. Would def go back!!

This place was amazing! I had their create special sandwich, it was seriously so good! The cheesy fiesta potatoes were also bomb. The service and atmosphere were super friendly,fast,and inviting. We got our food in like 5 minutes! The restaurant and bathrooms were super clean. I highly recommend and will be back!

Tried this restaurant for the second time. There won't be a third chance. I ordered Ernie's chicken salad and got the chicken strawberry salad instead. Not a big deal,Except that the chicken was dry and over-cooked.My husband's baked cod had zero flavor. The cole slaw was tasteless. At least the PBR was cold. Won't be going back

We finally got to try Ernie's Midtown Pub on a Thursday after the Midtown Farmer's Market. It was very very welcoming both outside which included tables with umbrellas and inside with nice tables, a long bar, tv's and Rockford themed items on the walls. There was a decent crowd for the lunch hour. We had the Ernie's Smash burger with the chips and the chicken tenders with tater tots. Everything was served hot and well made. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I highly recommend Ernie's for good food in a rehabbed old building in a historical part of town. (Note: They have lots of parking)

The food was amazing at Ernie's. The sampler was our favorite! The service was great too! We will be back! 10 out 10 recommend!

Waited 30 minutes for a tables which we completely understood. Although after they sat us down we were ignored. A waitress was standing near us talking to some customers looked over made eye contact and still no service. Another waitress walked by didn't bother to ask if needed anything. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and assume maybe they're busy. But when another group of people came in and sat down they immediately got service. So we figured we weren't going to get any service and left...

Food is excellent. We had great services. Space is very clean. Had a great time playing trivia with my family and friends.
