A guy at work keeps telling me that this place has the best breakfast and I have to try them and I kept telling him that a 70 minute commute round trip is a little far for breakfast but I went anyway. The restaurant is attached to the motel which is in the middle of no where. The place is no frills and would fit just fine into the dive category and looks pretty old. The kitchen is right behind the the old school lunch counter. There is two rooms of tables that is smaller than a one bedroom apartment. The place is on the small side but it completely filled up while I was there with hunters in orange and regulars. Service is slow because there is only one server and the cook makes one order at a time, no multi tasking here.I will post the menu because I couldn't find one on line. The menu has the breakfast regulars and I was looking forward to a great country breakfast. I ordered the sunny side up eggs, hash browns with cheese, sausage patties and sourdough toast. When my plate hit the table I was like WTF why does everything look over cooked. My sunny eggs were cloudy and over cast with no yellow yoke at all visible. The sausage patties were so over cooked that they were dry and had a shoe leather leather texture. The hash browns were cooked so crispy I felt like I was eating kettle chips. The toast was the lone survivor of the kitchen and some how escaped from the cook because it was perfect and not over cooked.Overall I was not impressed at all with today's breakfast and I'm going to have to stop listening to non yelpers because that's the second person from work that has steered me wrong.

The best breakfast in the area. There's nothing fancy about the food, but it's all really good. Eggs fluffy, bacon crisp, hashbrowns crispy on the outside & creamy in the middle, but the pancakes are the star, in my opinion. They're huge, first of all, secondly they perfectly crisp around the edges & soft and delicious in the middle and oh so buttery. The place is really small & it's cash only, though there is an ATM machine in the entrance. Staff is pretty friendly, but not overly chatty. I've been coming here about once or twice a year when I'm in the area for about 15 years and I've never been disappointed.

Never even saw that this place was a restaurant. Someone told me and my mind was blown. Glad I gave it a shot, the breakfast we ordered was pretty delicious and reasonably priced. Very modest decor, but I suppose that is the charm. Feels like Grandmas kitchen. The bacon was excellent!

I've been living in Erin for a little over five years now and there is no better place around to get breakfast. I've never had anything here that wasn't delicious, and they honestly have the best pancakes I have ever had in my life. So thankful it's right up the road, but it would be worth the drive from anywhere.

This is the perfect place a weekend breakfast after hunting, camping, or just a great breakfast out in the boonies. It's a small local place, with big portions, great prices, and great food!!

Love this little hole in the wall restaurant! Been here many times over the past few years. The food is always great and plentiful. Their pancakes are off the plate huge. Not those gut bombs thick instead they are thin almost like a crepe. And you can purchase them per pancake. Every thing is affordable. Out the door $5 for eggs, hash browns and toast. The eggs are always fresh and cooked perfectly. Hash browns tend to be a bit more oily is my only complaint. Their best asset is an older woman who waits the whole place. She is very attentive. There's a younger woman who is ok but could use a smile.Don't forget your cash! They don't take any plastic. Go enjoy the ride to this place and the great affordable food.

Went in for brunch after mass and was immediately berated the second we walked in. The three women at the front counter looked at the clock and said "we close in fifteen minutes," visibly rolled their eyes and one said "I'll babysit them" before we decided to leave. If someone's that rude, I don't care how good your food is. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I just returned home from having breakfast at the Erin Inn with family and a good friend of the family. Everything seemed to be fine until it was time to leave. We had a two year old with us, not sure who the woman was, but from reading another review she must have a problem with children. I can't recall exactly what she said, but it went like this. She told us that if we weren't taking the two year old with us they have a big dumpster out back for him and then she proceeded to point her finger in his face and told him to go sit down in the chair right now. I am appalled but didn't want to make a scene at the time. What a threat that was from her, seriously how would any one like to hear that about what someone would like to do to a child. If she was having a problem with him, take it up with the adults and don't threaten the child. I am also a resident of the area and have been for almost 60 years, never have I been so disgusted with a person in the people business. Never will I return to this establishment. I had to rate before my review would be posted, they didn't include minus stars.

Small family owned and run breakfast and lunch restaurant. A must stop for us every weekend when in the country. Outstanding comfort food at a great value. If you get there early enough ask if they still have fried potatoes. No charge cards.
