I came back a year later and everything is still great. I got to go potato picking, pumpkin picking, and bought some items for home. The same knowledgeable staff are still around. Prices are still great for the items you're getting.

What an awesome, quaint place. We spent a wonderful warm fall morning here on this real working farm. The owners are so wonderful and welcoming. We all loved the walk back to the pick your own pumpkins patch, right past two friendly pigs. Chickens clucked and we enjoyed a relaxing, simple experience. Sometimes it's the simple things that are the most memorable. Wonderful morning. Eggs, meat, gourds are all avail at very reasonable prices. What a gem.

When my bf and I first started going out over 3 years ago, we decided to go to Gobbert's pumpkin patch. While driving, we managed to get lost and somehow ended up at Pioneer Farms. Ever since then, I have been searching furiously online for this place and this year we finally found it! I love this place. It's not a touristy trap with running and screaming kids nor a hefty admission fee at the door. It's a local family owned farm, yes real farm, with animals all around and a large pumpkin patch in the back where you can pick and cut your own pumpkin. The prices are great as well, I got a medium pumpkin and 3 smaller ones, and the total came out to be $6. From now on, this will definately be the only pumpkin patch we will travel out to.

You have to love being able to hold real farm animals! For only $6 a head, you can have your own animal therapy session with ducks, lambs, goats, bunnies, chicks and even feed a calf a bottle! Come early - if there are crowds, you won't fit in the tiny barn and little ones could get anxious waiting. They also sell meat and eggs (produce in season).

We visited Pioneer farm after finding it by accident on our way to Goebberts. So glad we did - Pioneer is a small family farm with some animals on the property. We got to see sheep and chickens and a few other animals. They sell meat and eggs if you are interested. The pumpkin patch was a good size and they give you a wagon to use out in the field - we found some great pumpkins! We also took home some nice mums and a bale of straw. Everything was reasonably priced. And there were farm kitties to pet! A much better experience than the overpriced Goebberts.

The owner of this place screamed at me when I approached the area to get a wagon for the u-pick pumpkin area. He screamed at me in front of my children, one of whom has a service animal. He screamed that dogs are not allowed. And he approached me and got too close for my comfort. We explained this is a service dog and the owner continued screaming saying he doesn't care, that this is private property. His wife chimed in saying they have a disabled son. It was all so disappointing. We explained that service animals are allowed anywhere the public is allowed and he said to show him the law. When we went to show him the law, he said (again, screamed, sorry) that he did not care. There are zero signs posted anywhere in this business that allows the public to come in that service animals are not allowed. We were so looking forward to a few hours picking pumpkins, but instead were treated in an inappropriate, rude manner. For people who claim to have a child of their own with a disability, they certainly have not developed any kind of empathy for others with disabilities. If I could rate this business less than one star, i would not hesitate to do so.

Was so excited to pick up baby chicks. Pulled up to farm and asked worker for help: no answer but I did get a hi. Asked another patron where to go, found the barn, opened the door to find half customers no masked. Was greeted by a worker at the door who looked at me like I had five heads because I said I don't feel comfortable indoors in close proximity w/a crowd. And it was crowded. I asked if I could do business with her at the door and it was like pulling teeth. Her attitude was very unwolcomibg. Sad that I offend someone by wearing a mask.
